"Top notch service provided by US Vessel Documentation! Very satisfied yacht owner! I wouldn't have been able to enjoy my yacht fully, if the team from US Vessel Documentation wouldn't have made that possible. Thank again!

"Didn't want to use anyone but the USCG.mil/nvdc site, but these crooks do everything possible to con the boater to thinking you are.
Paid my $$, never received renewal paperwork. Opened a dispute with cc company to get my money back. Use above website to save your money and avoid these clowns."
"Every year I get an official looking document from these guys to renew my vessel documentation and, after checking out the fine print, they just upcharge for the same thing you can do direct to the USCG. How this could be legal is beyond me. To make matters even more annoying, they keep sending me a letter every year even though I told them to take me off the list. Crooks!"
"I renewed the documentation for two of my vessels through this company for a term of 3 years. The initial renewal was done without regard for the expiration of my previous Certificate of Documentation, shaving a month and a half off of my Documentation period. The subsequent year, prior to my renewal date, I contacted the company and they assured me everything was in order and my CoD's would be renewed on time. Nearly a month after the expiration date I still had not received the Doc. for either vessel. Again, I contacted the company and they assured me "the Vessel Documentation Center is very slow" and I should see them shortly. I contacted the National Vessel Documentation Center directly and they informed me that no renewal had yet to be submitted. I was forced to renew both CoD's myself since they were nearly a month expired. When I contacted the company again they tried to tell me that THEY had renewed the CoD's and I should have waited. They refused to issue a refund. STAY AWAY form this company! "
"There's no reason for this company to exist, and yet they do. Misleading us to think they are doing something special, and they're not. Masquerading as an official government office, and in my case they didn't do their simple task of renewing my registration. I called them on it, and not only did they refuse to refund, they were well prepared to fight my credit card with very official paperwork. Obviously, they are very used to this process. These people need to be shutdown, but in the meantime, STAY AWAY and renew directly with USCG!"
"Stay away from this company. I canceled my order within 24 hours and they sent me an official letter stating that it was not refundable. They did nothing but took me for $150. I will have to dispute it with my CC and let them take care of it. I did a review search after the fact and they have only a one star rating. Stay far away from these posers. "
"Mariners Beware! This outfit is a total internet scam. They took me for $225.00. I hear some of them are ex-coasties. Makes you wonder. Beware!"
"I thought they were Federal Coastguard agency because their deceptive logo and ad "US Coastguard Documentation". They immediately took $504 while my online application listed my boat 19' which was not eligible for documentation per Coastguard. I reported them to FTC and BBB. Be aware."
"This is a scam! They make their letters and website look like they are the official site for the USCG Documentation center, charge triple the official $26 per year fee, and if you pay for multiple years, as I did, they only renew your documents for the first year. I paid $225 and only got my documentation renewed for 1 year (real cost directly with the USCG is $26.00)."
"Sent a letter like it was from the Coast Guard, they were very aggressive on trying to sell their services, and got me to where I was very confused, so I went with them. After a quick Google search, I have realized I wasn't the only one and this whole outfit is NOTHING BUT A SCAM, DO NOT FALL FOR IT! The letter looked authentic, and after a very fast paced, confusing conversation with a pushy representative, I went with it. Have had to cancel all my accounts and banking services so they will not get the 800+ they were trying to out of me! Will also be contacting the police to fully check into this obvious FRAUDULENT "company" that tries to take advantage of hard working people! "
"Thought this was the Coast Guard site. Paid for 2 years of service ($150.00) and only received 1 year. You can go directly to the Coast Guard site and renew for $26.00 per year. No real live human will ever answer and emails will bounce back....BEWARE!!!"
