Fantastic Find!

"I had never heard of Uncommon Goods until I got a catalog in the mail. I ordered some unique gifts for very hard to please family who have everything. Great Christmas gifts

"I have ordered great Christmas gifts for my family for the last two years. Sales people were very friendly and gave great service. Got confirmation emails and things delivered on time. Couldn't have been happier. Their items are unique and different from "mall" stuff. Have shared all my catalogs with others and they love them.

LOVE this company!

"This is my favorite place to shop. If I were wealthy, I would seriously order everything in the catalog and give a lot of it away. They must have one helluva buyer because every item they have is unique and sourced from good people. The only problem (besides not being rich enough to buy it all) is choosing! I bought the baseball dartboard for my son-in-law and baseball fanatic grandson and we ALL love it! Now they’re not Amazon with distributors all over the country. But the occasional shipping blip is worth it. Plus, they have the best customer service team I’ve ever worked. Kudos kudos kudos, Uncommon Goods. "

scotch infused toothpicks disappointment

"I recently purchased 2 scotch infused toothpicks set for gifts at $34 each. I was so disappointed as both sets of toothpicks had absolutely no flavor at all. The recipient of the gift said he had some swamp land to sell me too. Please do not waste your money on this purchase....it may be best to DIY."

If I could give them a negative star I would!

"Ordered items the end of November. Was supposed to receive everything by Dec 15. Received all but one item. I called, they said it was custom made and would be shipping that day. Never arrived. Called again and again. Was told it was guaranteed to be there 3 days before Christmas. Nothing. Called again and again. Received lies. Never gave me a tracking number. Never arrived and now I have nothing for my aunt! So disappointed, so frustrated. If I had known this, I would have had time to get her something else. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!"

Customer Service ****

"Ordered my niece's Christmas present on 12/8. On 12/21, it occured to me that I hadn't received it. They confirmed I had ordered on 12/8, but the order didn't go thru. When I told him I didn't get an error message or an email alerting me to the problem. He stated "we don't do that." After putting me on hold forever, he came back and again told me the order didn't go thru, but not the reason why. After I pressed him, he said I gave them an invalid credit card. That's hard to believe because I use Dashlane which automatically inserts the credit card number. I searched online and found the item locally at ****'s Sporting Goods for the same price, minus the shipping charges."

Should be called Uncommonly bad!

"1st they sent me another customer's merchandise. I promptly returned it to Uncommon goods. They promised I would get my purchase within a week, but never sent a follow-up as to when I would receive it. I have contacted customer service 5 times and still my item has not been delivered. I wrote the CEO of the company with no response. It has now been over 3 weeks ! I wanted a pay pal refund but the customer service called stating my item was in the mail by the artist. I have yet to receive it. I have purchased many item items on line and never have had a bad experience. I will not deal with this company again!"

Lies

"The winner of worst business of 2017 goes to Uncommon Goods!!! I ordered 3 of their super nifty long distance touch lamps for me, my sister & mom for Christmas on November 30th. They package these in 1 or 2 per order, no problem, I had 2 sent to me, 1 to my sister. Charged for all 3, shipment confirmation on the 2 lamps, received them today. So I call them to see what the status is of the single lamp. Suddenly there was a "discrepancy" with my order, a shipping label was created but it was never shipped & now they're backordered until JANUARY 18TH. I placed this order via phone on November 30th, have an email confirmation from that same day, my credit card was charged for all 3 on December 4th, and now they don't have any to send out?!? And I would have never known this unless I'd called to check on the status, as they apparently don't communicate with their customers. I'm supposedly getting a refund for all 3 lamps & don't have to send the 2 I have back ( which I demanded a return label for), so I guess we'll see what happens. Bad reviews & reporting them with the BBB are definitely happening though. Beware of this company!!! P.S. I blocked my mom from this post as we still plan on surprising her with one lamp for Christmas. It's a really cool idea, I wish the company actually knew WTF they were doing"

Deceiving Shipping Dates Caused Me to Pay For Priority Shipping vs Standard Shipping

"I ordered a custom item which on the product description page said it was to be shipped on 12/15 and to choose your shipping method accordingly. I chose 2 day shipping based on the this information. The item shipped on 12/2 and will be delivered on 12/4. I would not have paid premium shipping if I had been given the correct timeframe on your product page. I called customer service to ask for a refund between the standard shipping rate and the premium rate I paid and was denied. This is quite unfair and and I feel you are obligated to post more realistic ship dates and ones not to simply cover yourself, at your customers expense, in case a custom item is delayed. More communication is needed between your company and your custom suppliers. I still would like a refund for the difference. Thank you. "

Feel like losing $681.49?

"I placed an order for some gifts on this site and almost immediately called customer service to cancel them. I was told my information wasn't in their system, although they had already charged my card $681.49, so apparently they had my information somewhere! After placing me on hold for some time, the customer service rep finally came back on the line and told me the order was cancelled. When I asked for a confirmation number, she told me they didn't give them out but I would receive an email confirmation and my card would be refunded the next day. It's now over a week later and, of course, my card has not received the refund.
I called again today and got almost the exact same runaround. The agent today finally offered that maybe my card was scammed. I couldn't agree with her more and Uncommon Goods is the prime suspect. They won't refund the $681.49, so now I have to go through the long process of filing a complaint with my credit card company in the hopes of unwinding this transaction.

Great gifts

"Whenever I need a present for someone I go here and always find something unique. Prices ranges are all over the board so most people can probably find something they can afford here. I got the New York Times book for my mom's birthday that has all the front pages on her birthday since she was born. She LOVED it! One of the 2 tracking numbers didn't work but my mom told me that both packages had arrived so I didn't have to worry. I've ordered here several times and this was the only issue I had. "

"Seems to be a common theme, I ordered on 12/13, chose shipping option to be here by 12/21, as of 12/22, product has not shipped warehouse. I would avoid unless you want a barren looking Christmas tree this year."
