"Good, fast service, great prices. I bought an older k6-2 cpu and unlike most other resellers, they didn't charge me 90% of the cpu cost for shipping..."
"Recieved order. Works well. Will buy again."
"Avoid at all costs. If you need more than that keep reading...
I should've canceled when they didn't have the memory I ordered in stock (after I called a week after ordering wondering about my order) but the price was so good I went ahead anyway.
I ordered 8 256MB Dimms for our new server. They promised "Samsung or Micron" and we got generic malfunctioning parts. 6 of the 8 Dimms worked. The 2 that don't work have obvious manufacturing defects that can only be described as soldering gunk clinging between the pins of several of the individual memory chips.
After a few weeks of aggravation I just wrote it off to experience but I can thank them for prompting me to find a site where I can check out a vendor before buying.
And here I am!"
"My transaction went well. I bought a 60.0GB WD 7200rpm hdd (lowest in PW besides those IBMs) & $5 bargain-bin floppy drive. And living so close to the company (Orange, CA) I just did a will call order. Reps were corteus & prompt. Will call charge is $4.
No complaints here!"
"Good price. Ordered. Arrived on
time and worked out of the box.
Never spoke to vendor/owner. Been
working since April. I would
probably do business with these
folks again... but always read what
is posted here at RR.Com"
"This will be long. I was the one who requested this reseller be added to resellerratings.com. To be blunt, avoid these people.
In March, I ordered 3 sticks or 256MB PC2100 ECC Registered memory for a new computer I was building. Everything arrived on time. However, 2 of the 3 sticks were dead. So, I got a RMA number and returned them. Two weeks went by with no response. So, I called. Then they said they had tried to contact me. This was just wrong. They asked if 1 stick of 512MB would work. I said yes and a week later it arrived.
Unfortunately, it was not ECC Registered, and it would not work with the remaining stick of 256MB I had from the first delivery. So, another RMA. After two weeks, I had not heard anything. So I called. They said they did not have any 512MB sticks and asked if I would mind 2 sticks of 256. I notified them that this is what I originally ordered and that they should have sent it weeks prior.
When it arrived, it turned out to be 2 sticks of 512MB (what they were supposed to be out of). I would have loved to keep it, but again, it was the wrong type and it would not work.
At this point I just wanted my money back (mind you, I ordered in March and it was now May). I got a return authorization and sent the item back. 3 weeks later I still had not received my money (via credit card). So, again I called. They then agreed to return my money (including shipping).
Needless to say, they deliver broken and incorrect parts. They do nothing unless you contact them. I wasted more than $40.00 on shipping charges dealing with these people. I am lucky I got my money back. By the way, I went to a local retailer and got the memory I needed in just one hour. It worked great too! Avoid upgrade-solution.com like the plague."
"Almost entirely middle-eastern guys that you can barely understand. They lied to me about having memory in stock out of spite for me asking to speak to a manager over not being able to speak or understand ENGLISH (never got to a mgr). I busted them red-handed since a friend called the same day about the RDRAM I was calling about and the same guy that snubbed me said "sure, we have plenty - how much do you need?"
These people are crooked. Stay far away from this company."
