"I tried to purchase 2 512MB sticks of memory from this company. It was a rarer kind, Registered DDR. I went to a few different websites from pricewatch.com, and this website is the only one that had the correct blanks to fill in my Amex card info. I didn't receive an email for about 30 minutes after making the online purchase, so I called them. They explained to me that they send the email after the transaction is processed. The person on the phone then offered to double check on the stock, which he confirmed. He also stated that the order would ship that day or the next. I received my email shortly after. About 30 minutes later, I received a phone call from the company apologizing, telling me that they had only 1 stick of what I needed, and that they could give me a $5 discount on 1 1GB stick. I would only be paying about $17 more than for the 2 512 sticks, so I agreed. I received the order on Friday. The memory worked. I appreciated the communication the company provided me, and the fast shipping."

"Buyer be ware. I wanted a Western Digital hard drive. I received a MDT. ??? It did not come with software to transfer my operating system to the new hard drive. I formated it in NTFS, gave it two 37 gig pratitions, and installed windows xp home. It keeps crashing, and will not boot. Hard drive keeps rebooting itself over and over again without launching windows. I had to reinstall my old hard drive, and use MDT as a second hard drive. It works now, but now I still need to replace my old 12 gig hard drive which has my operating system on it. I will go to BEST BUY!"
"I placed an order for 4 DIMMs, upgraded shipping, and was prompted to enter a “daytime phone number” (cell phone) during checkout.
Simple enough- done.
Shortly thereafter I received an email order confirmation. Then they notified me, again via email and over an hour later, that rather than shipping my order, they placed it on hold. They stated the reason was because my “daytime phone number” did not match with my credit card company’s phone number (home number) on file.
I called the support phone number listed in the email and stressed the urgency of receiving these parts ASAP, but was told no one was available to help now and to try again tomorrow.
I sent an email noting the discrepancy with the phone numbers, gave them both phone numbers, and stressed the urgency of this order again.
The next day I received an email purchase confirmation. Then again, after business hours, I received another email saying they were placing the order on hold... again.
“reason: We just sold out the 512MB PC133-ECC-Registered. Please give us a call if you have any question.”
Then 2 hours later that day they raised the price over 10% and updated their ad on pricewatch.com, saying “In Stock & On time” and “Same Day Shipping.”
At this point I am far too infuriated to call them again.

"I ordered a Maxtor 80G OEM Hard drive that is warrented by upgrade solution itself. The hard drive worked on the first day but turned out to have some stability issue later on. Maybe it is the compatability issue. I called the company, the sales rep. was easy to get hold with and issued me a replacement. The 2nd hard drive turn out to have the similar issue. It may really indicate that is really a compatability issue. Anyway, called the upgrade solution, and they issued me with a full refund. Although I did not end up of buying they OEM hard drive, but I do like their custom service. They are really a serious business runners."

"I ordered 1 gigabyte of PC3200 RAM from Upgrade Solution. The price was good and the item was shipped in a timely manner. The RAM had a sticker on it that said PC3200, but heatspreaders covered the actual chips. When I installed the RAM, it it defaulted to PC2700 speeds. I adjusted the speed in the bios and left the timings set to SPD. At PC3200 speeds (400mhz) the system was very unstable and applications crashed frequently. I loaded up Memtest86 and found thousands of errors. I had to back the RAM speed all the way down to 340mhz before I could get rid of most of the errors. It's clear to me that the RAM I was sold was not PC3200, but actually overclocked PC2700. Moreover, this RAM couldn't even run stably at its stated speed. If you are considering buying RAM from this company, spend a little more and get a namebrand."
"Ordered four Maxtor hard drives, two 30gb and two 10gb. Delivered quickly, well-packaged and all work fine. I've ordered from upgrade-solution.com a couple times before with same results. So far, no problems with these guys. Drives have mostly been non-branded OEMs but they don't cost as much as branded drives either, it's a trade-off and so far I've had good luck with both the seller and the products. They'll keep getting business from me."

"I went with this company because they had a very competitive price. I ordered an Adpatec 29160N U160 SCSI card as a bulk package card (oem). When I got the card, it had significant dust buildup from the video card it was slotted next to. I was expecting a new oem adaptec card and received a used DELL OEM card that was pulled from a DELL server. Although the card works fine, be prepared to get a used part. As long as you know what your getting, everything should be fine."

Received confirmation email for order on 7/7, shipping information next day, received very quickly on 7/11. Packing was decent and all were in anti-static bags. Everything worked great and looked good."
