Told them I want refund, they promise further discount and promise to ship following week, another 3 weeks later I demand full refund that takes another 2 weeks to reach my account. In the mean time I have seen my product $20 dearer, for less than $3 / week I could have been enjoying my tunes stress free.

"I purchased a cell phone on 25/09/2014. After days of continual prepackaged apology email (clearly not written by hand), I decided to cancel the order. Till today I have not seen a penny and looking in internet I found many negative reviews of people who have been waiting months to get their money back (if they ever will recover them back...). I am proceeding to denounce them to the authorities for fraud and report them to consumers associations. I'm trying to warn people as much as i can against this site of well-masked fraudsters. Stay away from it."
"I decided to buy a galaxy note 4 in gold and an LG G3 for my business partner. I checked that the phone was in stock and ordered some ancillaries. It was ordered on Oct 8th and its said 3 day delivery. I had a message on 14th telling me that it isn't in stock and they would see if they would try and discount the black one that was £ 12 more. I was upset as the last order i did on Value basket in 2012 ended up with an " in stock" item being out of stock so once again I have the same problem. " Shiela" was supposed to get back to us and tell us when the phone was being sent but we have heard nothing and are chasing the issue for the past few days. I'm a company director with an old phone whilst all of my staff are running about with new phones. I have had a week of wasted 4g trying to run a business on a knackered note 2 and value basket are about as much help as a chocolate teapot. 2 x orders and 2 x fails. It really isn't good enough. I would avoid these like the plague. They are not UK based and they are not very good.
Update...., I'm sorry but you don't have my understanding so there is no need to thank me. I have have had to buy another " in between" phone that cost me over £ 150 and furthermore spend £ 50 on unlocking my buisness partners iphone 5 from the vodaphone network because of your failure to tell the truth and I have also found out your customer service setup is woefull and I just hope I dont have any problems with the phone that requires warranty. One more thing is I wanted a Gold galaxy note 4.... I searched for days to find one. You are now supplying me a black one because your gold one isnt in stock. So I have not even got what I ordered in the first place. Your company even tried to charge me more for a black one untill I sent a very angry email. So please dont thank me for any understanding. Your company is bordering on fraudulent and I would have no hesitation of starting litigation against you if it didn't take up too much of my time . So you can count yourself lucky there. Sort your company out. Its not a pleasant way to do business. Don't try and make out you have items in stock to fish for customers. We wont put up with it. Once is shameful, twice is bordering on criminal."
"I ordered a watch from Qoo10.sg. It was mentioned that it will take 7 to 14 days to be delivered. So when it was 10 days, i email them to check for the status. They were saying that due to the large amount of orders, it was delayed. After waiting for 16 days, i email them again. The same reason they gave me. After 20 days, when i email them again, they told me that the headphone i ordered is out of stock. SINCE WHEN I ORDERED HEADPHONE. Then i clarified that it is a watch. Then they mentioned that the watch is out of stock too. THEN WHY DO YOU NEED 20 DAYS TO FIND OUT THE WATCH IS OUT OF STOCK. Disappointing with no professionalism.
And i am just curious about this company after i read through most of the comments given. Since it is so common for them to do refund and apologize for whatever inconvenience they have created, then why are they still selling stuffs? Are there really that much of stuffs around? Or is it just a scam? Don't they feel shame as a business owner who got the same complaints over and over again? If cannot promise, why promise? Even a kid learn something after making so many mistakes, what is wrong with this company???"
"Ordered a Samsung Tab Pro 10.1, they took the money from my card and told me a week later that they had none in stock. They take days to reply to any email and I have no faith that I'll get my money back. Am currently speaking to my credit card company to sort a full refund. Should have shopped elsewhere."

Almost all of the communication I had from ValueBasket was either an automated reply or a flat out lie; including stock levels, tracking number, delivery status, and location of delivery after the courier had confirmed attempting to return it to them."
"3 Weeks+ and still waiting for a camera. Many apologetic delaying emails of no substance. Finally 1 week ago a "Just Shipped! Your order is on its way and will arrive very soon." email arrived, even with a tracking number. Today I contacted the Courier and no such parcel is in transit. ValueBasket.com just created a tracking number and never arranged dispatch. Upon demanding an explanation from ValueBasket.com astonishingly I received yet another "please wait a few more days" email and nothing else. I have now instigated legal proceedings to retrieve my money. The UK telephone number on their website doesn't exist. Fraudsters. They will take your money and you will not receive the goods, just empty promises. After receiving the reply below which is yet more delaying tactics - there never was a parcel dispatched, I will wait no longer and I require my money back. "
"I purchased a Nexus 10 in June 2013 and had to return it under warranty as the camera had stopped working. This was returned to them on the 15th July 2014 and was signed for by them on the 16th July. After 13 weeks I have received no information about my device apart from excuses from a call centre. I also tried to phone them and was put through to a call centre in the Philippines. I am still awaiting a refund or replacement. DO NOT BUY FROM VALUEBASKET EVEN IF THEIR PRICES ARE TEMPTING.
UPDATE. NOW INTO WEEK 17 SINCE I RETURNED MY TABLET FOR REPAIR. Just been informed that they have received my tablet and repairs typically take 2 to 4 weeks.!!!! Where has my tablet been for the last 4 months?? It could have been on a slow boat to China and back in this length of time. Still not sure will ever see it again."
"ValueBasket's website says that it has 'UK stock'. This is almost certainly a contravention of the UK Trade Descriptions Legislation. Before placing my order with ValueBasket I called to check if the lens I wanted to order was indeed 'UK stock'. I was assured that it was and proceeded to order. I was told that the ordering process would take 2-3 days and that the lens would take a further 2-3 days. In fact it took a total of 11 working days, over 2-weeks, to arrive. Immediately prior to delivery the lens came via the Netherlands proving that it wasn't 'UK stock'. In addition, I was supposed to receive an invoice from them automatically - I had to call them 3 times to obtain this despite it being an 'automatic service'. This company clearly has a very inefficient business model that also puts strains on it's telephone staff to explain the delays! I was tempted by the low price but I will never use them again, and instead use OneStopDigital."
