"I have been a customer there since I can remember, when I had the first flip phone. This company is misdisieving, rude, inconsiderate , and over paid. They will do anything to leave out information to make more money, they don't not give one lick about you and your family. They don't care about you period. I have been stuck in contracts and finally said take whatever you need and forget you. Now... I'm not a one year member with one bad experience. Im a life longer customer that always tried to give them a benefit of doubt, ATT&T SPRINT and anyone else will thrive to take care of you. I promise you, promise you. If you get in bed with Verizon, it will be the worst cheating and abusive relationship you have ever been in, I give them 0 stars and if I can just save a hand full of people from having to go threw half of what I did, I would feel better. Verizon needs to be sued and put out of business for good, Anything from over paying, to lying advertisement, to deals changing on there side, even though you signed a contract agreeing to certain terms they can change whenever the please, but you can not leave, to not getting insurance claims months later when it should be over nighted. To forgetting to put 10 G's when they put 4G's of data never got told and charged upper of 500+ actually this happened more then not. How does it change when I didn't even ask someone to enter my account? I swear to my GOD if you step foot in a Verizon, it will be the worst experience of your life. Take it from someone who tried their hardest to give them the doubt, but no more. I fed up and going to see threw that everyone knows my story and stays clear of this horrible company."

"Avoid Verizon if you can if you do not want to waste 30 mins of your life getting frustrated every time you call . We have been Verizon wireless customers for many years and customer service and the billing dept gets worse each year. Last year they continually billed me monthly for 4 months for international service that I specifically told them was only needed for 1 week, every 3 weeks i would call and complain to have it removed, they said it would be done and it never was . after hours on the phone and months later the int'l plan was cancelled.
This summer same thing - requested the plan for 12 days for one phone / was billed for 2 phones and was billed to me from July to October, called each mth to request cancel and change plan- finally got smart and wrote down customer service names -first call was Dalanda and next mth Roberta. Roberta told me Dalanda had not written any info down about my previous phone call with her and did not know what I was talking about.
After 35 minutes on phone Roberta hung up on me, I was transferred to someone else and then Roberta called me back! "Went to a Verizon wireless store in Tallahassee on Tennessee street near Ocala rd. I went fully intending to purchase the new iPhone 6s plus and start a new plan with Verizon. I walked in and was not greeted, the customer service rep (Stanley was his name I believe) was talking to two customers that he knew outside of work and did not even pretend to notice me. I didn't really let it bother me. 20 minutes later I was still waiting when a successful looking woman walked in and right away he greeted her and said he'd be right with her. She sat down and within five minutes he was finished with the customers, looked at me and said "sir". I approached him and told him I was interested in getting the iPhone and that I wanted to do the plan in which you get the new phone each year. Right away his tone was condescending, he basically told me that I couldn't afford it. I worked 80 hours a week all summer long and have saved thousands, I was not finely dressed but not poorly either, he had no real reason to assume that I can't afford it. Adding insult to injury, or maybe insult to insult, he allowed another rich looking white kid to interrupt me. He helped that guy and left me waiting more, then he rushed me along until I decided that enough was enough. I took my belongings and and left, disappointed in what I thought would be a great new cell phone company. I am now getting treated much better at the at&t down the street. "

"Absolutely horrible!!!!!!!! I will start at the beginning, I was a customer for over 10 years, I moved out to my house about 6 years ago and did not get service, Verizon's best solution was to buy a network extender, I did and it did not work very well. At that time I dealt with the service for years. After paying $330 a month and going over on data magically and always having a $400 bill every month I got frustrated and checked other carriers. I decided to go with Sprint and now I all of a sudden have perfect service at my house. I then called Verizon to cancel and pay them off, I talked to numerous supervisors and finally paid over $1900 to get rid of Verizon and they swore to me I was paid in full and did not need to deal with them anymore. Low and behold three weeks later I receive a bill for $140, I call Verizon and they put me on hold and I need to talk to a supervisor, which makes no sense because it was noted on my account I was paid in full. They stated a supervisor would call me back within 72 hrs, twice I have called and they have told me this and never received a call. I am now calling again and have been on hold for 2 hours just to talk to someone. VERIZON IS THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Verizon is the worst CROOKED company I have ever been involved with and in my lifetime I have tried just about every company but VERIZON tops them ALL.. Horrible customer service they miss lead you, lie to you which has happened to me several of times and the customer is always WRONG. Its to the point now where I call back at least 3 times to be for sure I'm beening told the correct information. The things you have to go through to get things corrected is dehumanizing they don't care about loyal customers that spend $240 monthly. Bad customer service, bad culture along with bad training I ADVISE YOU STAY AWAY from VERIZON and the EDGE Program. When I came to verizon it was so I could UPGRADE EVERY YEAR @ 50% which was being advertised and was the only reason I came to verizon and then they change it to trap you. It"s VERIZON'S way of saying your in a 2 year contract but your not on a 2 year contract. When I went in to the store to edge up the sales rep never explained to me that the EDGE Program had changed to 75% and now its 100%, the sales reps know what not to say to hurt them from getting the sale. Now VERIZON don't want to let me go without paying my phones off. I even asked them to let me give them the one phone that I recently edged up on back, due the sales rep not properly explaining to me the new rules was 75% and due to the fact of them changing the EDGE Program when it was clearly being advertised as upgrade every year at 50% but of course Verizon couldn't man up and do the right thing and not be so CROOKED."

"BUYER BEWARE!!! I am going to "fire" Verizon for their July 29, 2015 rate increase for data usage. A technical support rep told me Verizon now racks up data usage in a different way, which triples my monthly data usage for simply checking my email. I will now pay over $100 per month to check my email on my laptop. I will gladly pay a $170.00 early termination fee to express my disgust with being ripped off by Verizon. "Verizon lies and after that said was a mistake, sorry, JUST PAY.
I am a verizon costumer for the last 15 years. Two months ago i decide to change my phone using edge promotion. they promise to keep a promotion that I had for the last years and include a new promotion.
After my first statement, the just put one of the promotion. Regardless that all was recorded in the notes of my file (that i insist to leave registered at the moment of taken the decision) they say that was a mistake for the promoter and they can do anything. I have to pay what they said no matter what, otherwise i have to pay all penalties to finish the relationship.
As soon i can say goodbye to these bandits I will do it.
DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. THEY ARE LIARS.

"I called Verizon customer service on Tuesday 07/14 about a router that I had in my home. I was told then that I would need to buy and order a new router, so I did. The customer service representative then told me that it would be shipped overnight and I would receive the router the next day on Wednesday 07/15. By Thursday I still did not have the router so I called back and the customer service rep said I would have the router on Friday, no big deal. On Friday, still no router. I called back again and was told by the 3rd CSR rep that it had shipped and I would for sure have my router on Saturday, 07/18. Saturday, to no surprise, the router had still not shown up so I called Verizon CSR AGAIN for the FOURTH time that week and that CSR said that my router had never shipped in the first place when 3 other reps that week had told me it had shipped and was on its way to me. I then had to cancel the order and place a new one for the router. With that, I had to tell the rep that my delivery address was in a completely different state from the billing address and of course, gave her the right delivery address. The router was then supposed to be delivered to me on Monday, 07/20. I checked on the status of the delivery on Monday and it turns out that the rep had sent the router to the billing address in a different state from where I needed it. I then had to call AGAIN, give them the shipping address AGAIN, and now the router will not be here until Friday, 07/24.. if I even get it that day. What was supposed to be an overnight delivery turned into a week and a half delivery.. maybe, about 6 or 7 different phone calls to Verizon, and false information given to me by their customer service reps. Needless to say I am not happy whatsoever. "

"We had contacted service rep by phone to add a plan for while we were in Mexico. They actually said two plans one for 40.00 and one for 10.00 would do the trick. Well, guess what they did not do it so we got a bill for $907.00! RIP OFFS!!!!! Don't use them, if you do drop them!!! We are!"

"I would not recommend Verizon Wireless if you are looking for a reasonable amount to pay each month. Very over priced. Switched from AT&T which I loved never had any problems and now every single month I have a issue with my bill. They do not stand behind their word. I did not realize every time you try to switch to a cheaper plan they tack on $80 roughly to the bill. I tried to get it resolved but no one would help me. I definitely would NOT use Verizon. "

"When someone says they're going to do something and doesn't, they're a liar. When someone has your money and refuses to give it back, they're a thief. A lying thief, that's Verizon. I bought a tablet for my wife to use for her business. It was defective, VW said send it back and it would be replaced under warranty. Since my wife really needed the tablet, I asked if VW could expedite the shipment of the replacement. They said they could, but I would have to pay full cost for it up front to ensure they didn't get ripped off. Keep in mind I've been a VW customer for over 15 years and have never been late on a single payment! They said the $650 they charged me would be automatically refunded as soon as they received the defective unit. We needed the tablet, so I did it.

That was over two months ago. VW still has our money and the defective tablet. The new tablet is on an Edge plan. Last time I checked, my wife and I have spoken to 15 - FIFTEEN - different VW reps including supervisors. Every time you call it's another hour + to go through all the same hoops we went through during the previous call. You get hung up on, handed off to someone else just to start over, one promise after another. It would be funny if it weren't so aggravating. One of their favorites: It takes 10 business days for a refund. Ten days come and go, no refund. Another call, another hour +, another runaround. In fact, our refund was supposed to have been made to our account today. Nothing. So, back on the phone again Saturday. What's worse, I'm reluctant to dispute it with my credit card company because VW has been known to negatively affect people's credit ratings in these circumstances.

What an aggravating mess. My advice? Never, under any circumstances, make a payment to Verizon Wireless unless it's an actual cellular bill. And never, under any circumstances, believe anything those knucklehead VW reps tell you over the phone. We've discovered that nearly all of them will lie to you and a fairly large percentage don't know what they're doing. Always get names and titles. And if you can, change cellular providers.

"If I had to, it would be easy to sum up Verizon Wireless service in one sentence. "I would go without cell phone service first before I would ever go with these crooks again". Without saying much more, just take one look at the overall rating here ( .30 out of 10 ) and that should be enough to make you run the other way. 100+ people can't be wrong. "

"Just downloaded the new lollipop to my phone and as usual it screwed up how my phone works and gave me a cartoonish screen..I should have a choice in whether I want an "upgrade"..changed how my phone functions, and again screwed up my camera...why force this crap on people when they are happy with it in the first place...hate how my phone is now...hate that tech support couldn't stop the crappy download. .and the told me it would only optimize my phone...BS!..also now my phones battery drains much faster...Sooo disappointed and Verizon can't help...figures...pay a lot for crap....grrrrrr"
