"A major issue has been following along by page numbers. If a professor is asking us to work on page 250-255 or look at the matrix on page 245, it is not possible. I have had to use the search bar using context as my one saving grace. The other major issues include how diagrams are viewed and how difficult it is to use the digital workbook.
Highlighting and note taking is easy. The many options to change the viewing option is nice."
"I enjoy the flexibility of their online text books for someone who needs to travel a lot, but they need to have better disclosures on which vital source texts come with extra content. I enjoy having the online practice tests but it's difficult to know which books actually come with the materials until after buying them. Half of the time I've had to buy an extra physical copy of the book to access the online resources. Other than that, I've really enjoyed their books. "

"I have been using VitalSource since May 2023 for academic purposes. Everything went smoothly until recently when I bought two books that I needed to claim on another website. The guide provided by VitalSource on how to claim your book didn't work. When I reached out for help, the person who took my case immediately told me they couldn't assist and that I should reach out to the third party. This response frustrated me because I purchased the books through VitalSource, and I believed they should have been the ones to help me. I reached out to the third party, and they guided me through the correct steps to claim my books. I will say the service is good until you encounter an issue."
"I paid $47 for my book to find out it just gives me a code to access it through Pearson which is a 30 character code then gives you a link to their main page that has no where to enter the code. **UPDATE** The reply I get is thanks for the information we will pass it on. No help in any way. I'm stuck having paid for this book for my class and still can't access it."
