"You cqn see your textbooks, zoom in, zoom in, zoom out, have them read to you by a very robotic sounding voice but it's good that I can even have them read to me in the first place so that I can listen even when I washing the car or something. (though this might not be such a good idea for things like programming or mathematics).

Perhaps I am not using them to their full capabilities but the flashcards could use a touch up. It would be nice to have stats, and have spaced repetition but I am used to ankidroid so that might be why the notes feature does not satisfy me too much.

I like the ease of the app and the only view of the book. My recent book has the "CoachMe" feature, which is nice because it promotes some practice questions as I read. "VitalSource saved money by providing access to a hardcover book that is now expensive and difficult to obtain. However, page numbers did not appear onscreen in VitalSource, so I could not construct a citation. VitalSource Support simply told me that the publisher chose not to provide page numbers. However, I figured out how to get them! In the Search box at top right of the page, type in the term you’re looking for. The number of the page where the term appears will be displayed in a column at right of your screen.

"General advice: I wish there were audio books of textbooks too instead of the text to speech. Text to speech is a great start! But an audiobook like recording would be even better - especially for math textbooks where the text to speech does not say the formulas or equations correctly.

"Compute Networks: A Systems Approach" by Peterson and Davie: I wish there were tabs for the sub sections. e.g 5.3 has sub sections 5.3.1 and 5.3.2 but on the left nav bar (on iOS) there is only a section for 5.3. I wish this textbooks nav bar were more like "Computer Networking: a Top Down Approach" by Kurose & Ross."
