"I got a defective watch with poor accuracy and it even stopped in the midnight. They said I can return without restocking and shipping fees. I only hold this watch for two days, returned it and emailed asking full refund though I didn't get their reply. Two weeks later, I only got partial refund; restocking and shipping fees are not refunded. I contacted them and they claimed this is NOT defective!!!

This is not reasonable at all that they didn't contact me claiming it during this TWO weeks and just gave me partial refund without my approval. The only reason I can think of is they spent two weeks to fix it.

So one of the reasons why their watches are even cheaper than other grey markets is likely that a customer has higher chance to get a defective watch. And a defective watch becomes a non-defective one when a customer returns it since they just fix by themselves. So anyway you won't get your full money back once you buy from them and at least they earn some money. Besides, you know the watch becomes "brand-new" after their repair!

"I wanted a particular watch which was indicated as available and ready to send. I decided to pay by making a bank transfer. I think that that was my mistake... By the time the payment cleared (3 days) the watch had gone from 'available' to '2-3 weeks'. The day it was planned to be sent it was 'out of stock'.
I got in contact with customer service (since they had my money) and found another watch in its place (same model different band, strap instead of a bracelet). I was assured that this one was available in 2 weeks. It was more expensive but I got a good discount on the price difference in light of my disappointment and the hassle of the situation.
I would have ordered the original watch I wanted from somewhere else but I was out of stock everywhere, ADs ask for way more than reason, and Watchmaxx were the only ones to have anything remotely close to what I wanted (at a reasonable price). "
