"I needed an 84” long shower curtain. Wayfair looked like a great solution: many styles, fabrics, prices. I filtered for “in stock only” and chose one of about a dozen white cotton styles. I needed it in two weeks. After five days, the initial order was canceled because it was out of stock. I ordered a new one by phone on a Tuesday morning. Customer service rep said it was in stock and she would have it sent out “express “ that day. In fact, the order was not ready for shipment until Thursday via GROUND for arrival the following Wednesday. I called customer service who told me that the carrier, UPS, had switched the shipping method to ground due to weather delays in Iowa. I checked. UPS and NOAA reported no actual or anticipated weather delays. Further, UPS does not change the freight instructions. Wayfair agreed to send another shower curtain, again via “express.” However, since it was now late in the day on Wednesday, they could not guarantee delivery on Friday. It might be Monday, I needed it Friday. I was already informed by UPS that the package, if picked up Thursday by 4:30 pm could be delivered by 9 am Friday. I argued with the Customer Service agent who steadfastly said the carrier would not deliver by Friday or Saturday. But she placed new express order which should reach me on Monday. On Friday, I received new email that package would ship that day by GROUND and arrive the following Thursday. Finally, a new customer service manager stated that Wayfair’s contract with UPS is limited to Monday to Friday only. Also finally admitted communication issue with supplier who kept ignoring request for “express “ shipping method. Now I have to fight about not paying for something that arrives too late. UGH! I’ll never use Wayfair again. Give me Amazon. They may not have as much choice, but they are reliable."

We were promised a manager would call, to inform us about when the missing parts would arrive. The call never happened.
We called again, and were promised follow-up. Again nothing happened.
Total incompetence.
At least they were kind enough to send FedEx to pick up the 4 large boxes. We had to repack everything.
Wasted 4 weeks with them...
So,w went Houzz - Everything came correct the first time.

"I ordered this great cat tree as a Christmas present for my two cats. It remained in the unopened shipping box until today because I was certain that it would be difficult to assemble. The assembly did take awhile, but it wasn't difficult at all. The cats were on it before I got the second level attached. They love it, and so do I! It is a sturdy, interesting and challenging tree for my cats to climb and play together; it provides good exercise as well. This was a smart purchase, and I highly recommend it to anybody who has active or inactive cats. The price was reasonable, delivery was on time and the tree was in excellent condition."
"I ordered a sofa for my daughter's new apartment. It was to be shipped via FedEx and they asked for her phone number so they could call ahead to provide a delivery window and make sure she was home to receive it. She was home all day waiting for the phone call, but finally had to leave for work. She found a tag on the exterior door to the building that FedEx could not get in the building to deliver the sofa. She called the number on the tag to set up a new delivery, and the exact same thing happened again and again! After the 2nd delivery attempt, I called to complain that the FedEx folks did not call for my daughter to beep them into the secure building, and FedEx replied that their delivery folks do not carry phones, so they cannot call! The sofa was returned to the main distribution center 30 minutes away. My daughter had to drive to pick up the sofa and lug it up to her apartment alone.
The sofa, however, is great. My daughter assembled it herself and is very pleased with it."
