"I have now used Wayfair to purchase a few items for my home. One purchase was a set of parsons chairs. One of the chairs had a problem when assembling. I contacted Wayfair and their customer service was amazing. They replaced the chair and gave us a partial refund.
I have now purchased numerous items with them and have not yet been disappointed with the product, shipping, or customer service.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

"For anyone considering ordering from Wayfair - please see my latest email response to their customer service to get a small taste of what ordering furniture from Wayfair entails.
I ordered a section for my new home in September. I first received only one half, and then the second half came in a different color. They stated that the correct color would be delivered today, yet this morning I was informed that nothing had been shipped but a fabric swatch that I would receive in a week, at which point I could respond, and then they would place an order, and then I could wait for that delivery.
Undoubtedly the worst customer experience I've ever had. If anyone is interested in more detail and the series of events that have led up to this point, please feel free to reach out to me directly, as I would like to help avoid others from dealing with this nightmare company.

The issue with shipping a full replacement, from what I understand, is that I won't receive it for approximately one month. At this point I've already been waiting for over a month. I am hosting Thanksgiving as my housewarming party and should not have to do so without seating, considering I purchased this well in advance. If there was a way to expedite this process to ensure I'd have it within two weeks, then I would be open to this.
So clearly I am left with no other option but to wait for the swatch - which considering the series of events I've experienced thus far, I think it was a poor show of customer service to not expedite ship it to me.
I simply wanted to order my sectional, have it shipped to me within a reasonable amount of time, and be done with it. To date I have spent a substantial amount of time speaking to various customer service reps, waiting on hold, working with my leasing center to coordinate drop offs, and working with seemingly incompetent shipping companies who are unable to follow a map to an address and deliver the correct piece of furniture to me without me sitting on the phone directing them.
I just began a new job at the same time as moving into my new apartment, and the stress that this situation has added is huge. It has been truly the worst B2C experience - very much including the customer experience piece - that I have ever encountered in my life. To that point, the customer service representatives, with the exception of one, have been incredibly unhelpful, rude and difficult to communicate with. Overall, just a truly poor job done by Wayfair.
Please respond with what Wayfair is going to do to expedite this process and try to make it right.

Good product for the money.

"The table set is of reasonable quality especially for the money. The table table arrived damaged and one one the chairs had the leg broken off. I have to mention that the damage was done before packing because the carton arrived in pristine condition. Called customer service and they were pleasant and reordered replacements. Here is where everything broke down. I was told that the replacement would be shipped in a couple of months, no problem with that but when the due date passed without any word, I called back and was told that other orders were ahead of me and that it would take a couple more months. Still waiting!!"

Be selective

"I’ve ordered some great, vivid, canvas paintings from wayfair. They had an amazing Van Gogh in a large canvas for a very fair price. I have loved everything I’ve ordered from them so when I saw a great sectional on special I figured it was because it was an unconventional left handed sectional. Unfortunately, the company made the sectional out of very cheap particle board and because wayfair uses third party transport sometimes they may not go with the most professional companies. All of my replacements were damaged and after ordering in April and it’s now October I am willing to take a defective comfortable couch at this point. I will say, my representative at Wayfair has been on the ball and very helpful with scheduling the replacements and understanding the hassle and I do not hold that poor woman responsible for this mess but her company should provide better product or at least a product that can be delivered intact."

If I could give a minus 10 I would

"Ordered dining table and 2 chairs (wanted to ensure they went together). Table and chairs mysteriously shipped to billing address, not shipping address (we were in the middle of a move and addresses were for different states). Two weeks later and after discussions with 5 different people, they agreed to ship the table to my shipping address without charging me. Had to wait till it reached original local warehouse before being rerouted. Then the table was mysteriously lost while being rerouted. Had to reorder table and wait for it to be shipped. Finally got table almost 4 months after I ordered. Liked how the chairs matched, went to order the rest of the chairs-out of stock until October 11th, then updated to state out of stock until Nov 5th, just updated again to state out of stock until Dec 5th. Guess I will eat the cost of the 2 chairs and look for chairs elsewhere, as I have been without a dining set for almost 5 months. "
