Give at least 6-8 weeks for delivery!!!

"Place an order and it already gives you a longer than you'd like delivery time frame - when I placed my order it was supposed to be delivered between Feb 28th and March 7th. Between 1.5 - 3 weeks. Ok...we can handle that. Get email that it shipped - with estimated delivery of sometime 'after March 7' and to check back after 24 hours for updated shipping information and movement....hhmmm k. I checked the next day, no update.

Check the tracking info this morning...72 hours later and now it says some time 'after March 14th'!!!!!!!!!!!

K....you already have my $700. I can't see what is going on with the shipment. Delivery date gets pushed out. I call customer service to see if maybe they have more details and that was one of the most unhelpful conversations I have ever had, not to mention that the person was on autopilot and would not take a breath while talking so I had no chance to ask a question or respond to ANY statement.

I don't normally get rude with people - they're just doing their jobs and it's not their fault - BUT LET PEOPLE TALK AND ASK QUESTIONS SO IT DOESN'T ESCALATE THE FRUSTRATIONS FURTHER!

In short I got told they don't know when it will be delivered. They give estimates based on the shipping warehouse and after it leaves there it is out of their hands. Their website isn't updating. It's the shippers problem. They say "after March 14th" because that is when it is estimated that the NEXT shipping company will receive the product. Then they will take 2 business days to call you to schedule the delivery (even when it's a plain ol' drop off delivery method) and then you will get your product but it could be 6-8 weeks...............

Well...do you think I would have placed the order if you had listed the "honest" lead time of 6-8 weeks? NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But now you have my money so you no longer care. THANKS!

Bait and Switch

"Poor build quality. Wayfair has a scheme. They sell cheap furniture that you would never pay full price for if you saw it in person first. All of their furniture is scratch and dent, and the driver comes prepared with a number to call to get you a discount. They call you 10 minutes later, and give you a percentage of your purchase back to you. Then when you try to return it because you get all the wrapping off of it and realize how cheap it is, you find out you can't because you selected a color or fabric that's non-returnable. You HAVE to choose a color and fabric when purchasing the item, and NO WHERE do they warn you that it's non returnable once you choose a fabric. The person I chatted with online had a scripted cut and paste answer to all my questions. It's a bait and switch scam, and I'm embarrassed I fell for it. I got a $100 quality couch for $700 that I can't return. Use common sense people, don't buy furniture online."

horrible experience

"I bought a mattress. it was damaged. its been over 45 days and i still can not return it. they keep changing pick up time. then they ask me to pay for shipping...its been drama...never buy anything from wayfair again."

Buyer Beware!!

"They sell very cheap furniture all from China and when it fails/breaks/falls apart they refuse to stand by any of the junk they sell.
Free shipping??? Its not free, believe me, their prices are inflated to include the shipping.
Don't waste your money.

FAIL - Worst customer service experience ever!

"In my many years of online shopping, I have never left a one star review...until now. In August of 2021, I asked a Wayfair rep if they could deliver a 15 inch wine cooler I was interested in purchasing, to Hawaii. They said yes, I placed the order, and the first wine cooler was lost in transit, followed by the second, and finally, the third. After this, my case was moved up to management where I was told they had solved the shipping problem and was assured the fourth would make it to me. It never did and never will. Wayfair now tells me they can't ship it to Hawaii - 6 months and 4 wine coolers later! Other than refunding my account, they have not offered to compensate me for my troubles in any other way. This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had and I don't recommend ordering from them!"

Review scams

"We remodeled our house and purchased many items. One was a whitehaus faucet for $800. It came and leaked everywhere, with the sprayer not working. By the time we figured it out it was too late to return AND they wouldn’t let me post a review. I had another poor experience buying stools and they wouldn’t let me review it either. Would not purchase toilet paper from this company, let alone anything else ever again."

Terrible customer service and poor business practices

"If I could give Wayfair ZERO stars I would. I purchased some bedding on Cyber Monday (11/29) for what I thought was the good deal. When I returned to their website a few days later (12/02) to view the colors and pattern of the comforter and bedsheets I purchased I found that the price was significantly LOWER than it was only a few days prior. The original purchase price of the comforter was $204 and the price today (12/02) was $130! I emailed the company to request an adjustment and only received a response that they do not "match prices." I feel like one can only surmise that Wayfair jacked up their prices for Cyber Monday so they could take advantage of people with their "sales." I found the same items on Overstock for MUCH less. I will be returning the Wayfair trash and proceeding with my order from Overstock. I recommend avoiding any business with Wayfair. If one should find an item they have, it can likely be found distributed from another company."

Lousy customer service

"Ordered an office desk and the shipping box and desk arrived damaged. The damage is on the desktop front where ones arm would rest when working on the computer. Wayfair offered a replacement top back in September where it has been sitting in Lathrop California ever since and as of Nov 20th it still shows it being there and is described as (delivered). emailed complaint to the company and was told that the damage looked minimal to them and that they would resolve by providing me with a 10% discount. Now the desk isn't really expensive, but I could buy a damaged desk at a thrift shop for 10% of what it cost me. Why I would be expected to take a hit on this purchase when its been months since I initially tried to reasonable resolved this issue is beyond comprehension. They offered me a return for a full refund, but the box was damaged beyond repair, so I would have to go to a moving company to purchase packaging material; disassemble the desk and ship it back....what a hassle! I have made a few purchases from this company and finally got my wife used to online shopping, but they will no long be seeing our business again! Shop local "

Never Again!!!

"Ordered a dining room set and one of the chairs’ legs was defective. Called for a replacement and THAT was defective! Chose to **** it up. Next ordered a couch. Didn’t fit in the building’s elevator. Was charged a $118.83 “rerouting fee”! I measured my space and my door! Never did I imagine I had to measure the elevator in a building with 116 units!! Silly me had a bedroom set on the list next. Hell no! God forbid it not fit in the elevator!! "

Stay away from this company!

"It's overpriced and low quality. I ordered many things from them because, to be honest, you can find styles that you do not find easily in other stores.
But...OMG! Most items come with at least one defect and so hard to get customer service to fix things or sent you items that were missing (which happens frequently) and you have to wait another month or 2 to receive it as well. I say as well, because for most furniture you have to wait between one month or two to receive your order.
Some times they send "you" to call the manufacturer, instead of them doing their job! And good look getting an answer to your calls from the manufacturers.
Anyways, it was an overpriced nightmare for me. I do not recommend this company at all.

Stay away

"Ordered a desk 6 days ago and was supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Still says processing on their website. Called customer service and chatted with a Shawna. She said item was lost and would issue me a full refund. Never received a confirmation email from her. Chatted with someone else and they have no record of my conversation with this person and it was not cancelled. This person Latasha was a better but still could not tell me where my order was. I don't want it delivered next week when I'm out of town. I will never order from this company again. Just terrible! "

Wayfair steals

"I just moved and decided to order a couch, vanity, and tv stand from wayfair. This was just five months ago, and the couch already has to be replaced. I’m not stressing that though. Im stressing the fact that wayfair is STILL taking money out of my account, even after I called them and was told I owe them nothing one day, and then two days later told I owe them money after I called yet again because they took money out of my account. They did the same thing just last month. Finally I called my bank to remove access. I don’t know what’s going on, but it stinks!!! Run!!! Save money by going to another company!!!"

There is a fake Wayfair site out there.

"It rolled up on a facebook ad. When I clicked on the unbelievable offer, it took me to another site altogether, a site called: Conceptly.shop/collections/storage-shed and a string of numbers ...their prices were ridiculously low. There was a banner that said it was a special price and only one to the customer, but even I can't believe it.....EVERYTHING on the site was $59.99, so I want on the actual Wayfair dot come site to search for that item........NOPE.............doesn't even exist there in that category.
BEWARE!!! Look at your address bar after you click. It should still say Wayfair.

Can I give it 1/2 a star?

"I ordered a bathtub and Wayfair said it would be 3 weeks. Nothing when I ordered about no returns. Two weeks after ordering, the delivery date moved back 3 more weeks. I found another tub locally so I tried to cancel the order. An email stated I couldn't cancel. I called. A very nice lady on the phone explained that when I purchased it, it stated that I can't return it. I am quite confident it did not say that because I looked up the return policy before purchasing. Additionally, the tub is now $350 less than 2 weeks ago when I purchased it. I asked if I could have the lower price since they won't let me cancel the order (which has not shipped by the way). She said they could not do that either. So no cancelling the order, 3 week longer delay on delivery, and I can't get the cheaper price. This is the worst customer service EVER and I'm telling everyone I know not to buy from Wayfair."
