"Ordering process was pretty simple & intuitive, but they claimed my service would cut over on a specified date, and it cut over 3 days earlier than I was notified, which left me without celfone service for a period of 8 hours, which isn't acceptable when you have a small child at daycare & your dayjob communicates with you primarily over your celfone."

"My phone came in a severely one side damaged box with rip and black marks and lots patching tape to cover it. Never received any shipment in such a condition. Even though they sent me another phone to replace but I was not completely satisfied with follow up customer service."

"Purchasing the phone was a breeze!!! :). Price is awesome! My husband always loved the Motorola Razr phones so his bday is coming up next week I wanted to surprise him, I shopped here locally and our cellphone carrier for upgrade price but it was way too much for me, so I was so thrilled when I came across Wirefly.com and saw they sell the same phone for half of the price :) :) :)"

"Excellent price and service. I was a little concerned that Wirefly was a valid retailer for Verizon, but a call to Verizon put my mind at ease. I ordered by calling Wirefly, so that I could ask questions to make sure I got what I wanted. Customer service rep was very helpful. Only thing I would note, is that it does take a good deal of time to place a phone order, so don't do it unless you have time and patience. The CR and only go as fast as his/her computer process your order. I received my phone in two days using their basic service. Great service!"

"I saved $100 over Verizon's upgrade price on a Samsung Galaxy S 3 for my daughter's birthday. There was no problem in having it shipped to her address in Ohio ( I live in Florida). There was a slight problem in activating the phone, however Wirefly's customer support solved the problem in minutes and the phone was activated.

I will use them again on the next update.

"In general a good experience. We wanted to upgrade our basic cell phones with Verizon and signed up for another 24-month contract. The phones were free with free shipping and arrived within 2 days. We've been Wirefly customers before and find this site easier to deal with than Verizon's own website. Also, Wirefly had a larger selection of free phones than did Verizon. We were able to find 2 basic cell phones with QWERTY keyboards that fit our needs well. We'll be back to Wirefly when we're ready to upgrade our son's smartphone.

The only downside of the entire process is Verizon's $30/phone "upgrade fee." This is not Wirefly's doing, but Verizon's. I understand that "free" phones have to be paid for in some way, but we've been loyal Verizon Wireless customers for many years. And we were signing up for 2 more years with them. $60 is a chunk of monthly budget for us.

"Easy to shop, GREAT price, and free shipping!
Well, my review was a bit too early... >.<
I got my items pretty late. Order date was 01/16/2013. Package arrived on 01/25/2013. I thought, "well at least it was free shipping." Then the yellow semi-padded envelope was stuffed with this recycled grey stuff that went all over the place and very difficult to clean up. My Universal Dashboard & Window Mount came broken, one of the phone holding arms was cleanly broken off. It came out the sealed box broken. I supposed it happened at the manufacturer or during shipping. The base pad for the mount is pretty heavy, 2 lbs, and there was nothing in the sealed box to pad one part from the other. Anyway no fault of Wirefly, just my bad luck.
The issue I have is with return process. Since this is an accessory order and not cellphone order, I had to pay for return shipping which turned out to be $11.96 via FedEx Ground. For the reference, USPS tracking shipping was $12.58, and UPS Ground was $12.05.
So I just spent a full week waiting for a broken item and spent $11.96 in hope of saving $5.00 for essentially same product that I could have gotten at a local Fry's Electronics.
Lesson learned: Don't order heavy item that could be broken from online retailer without confirming return cost. Chances are that it will break and it will cost a LOT to send it back. It's just a pit fall of online shopping.
Wirefly offered to send an exchange item, but I didn't want to wait for another week for an item that could be broken again, and I end up paying for another return shipping. I just bought one at the local Fry's Electronics. I understand that wirefly has to make money and wouldn't want to cough up the return shipping in addition to cutthroat pricing they offer. But it still left a bad taste in my mouth. I will be more careful of ordering items online from now on.
