"I've been following Woot! for about 7 years, and have bought several items from them. Aside from very slow shipping, I haven't had a problem until recently. I purchased an item at a fair price of $99 during a "Woot-off!" Well, three weeks later, they are selling the item for only $73 dollars...almost a 30% DIFFERENCE!!! I can see maybe a five or ten dollar difference, but almost a third of the price is an extreme.
So, I sent an extremely polite and humorous email to customer service, expressing my dismay and asking for a $27 credit - either store credit or refund. My prompt reply had something to do with ordering multiple items, which immediately made it clear that they did not even bother to read my message, let alone understand my issue.
So, I sent another very polite, but much simpler email, outlining my issue and again asking for a credit. This one also got a prompt reply, which consisted of one sentence stating they do not have a price guarantee.
It would take 60 seconds to arrange for a store credit, keep a customer happy, and do the right thing. So, I sent a third email, also staying very professional, but criticizing their lack of customer service. Guess what...no response...because they have no defense for such poor business practices."

"I recently purchased 2 laptops for our kids for Christmas. They opened the boxes and they had problems right away. I tried to return them or get a refund and finally just gave up. If your buying nickle and dime stuff that,s great but save your money on any bigger items. They will not back their products. I will pay a little more at a reputable store that backs what they sell and know that if there is a problem I can get it fixed or refunded. "
"Ordered smallish type electronics. I have always researched the item well before ordering it. I have had no problems with the products received or receiving the products. My only complaint is that they tend to be a little slow on shipping."
"I purchased a univeral remote from Woot for the first time. If I have known all the negative reveiws I would never had ordered from them. First they shipped my package which some how got lost, so i had to email customer service. They write back saying my address was too long and the printing lable cut off the rest of address so package was lost. THey emailed saying they will be reshipped..but that was a week ago. Taking forever to get my product and on top of that customer service blamed me for entering a long address!"
"They've had an RMA for over 20 days, shipped it a month ago and they have not issued refund. So be prepared if you use this site and have to RMA to never see your money or product again."
"I recently made a small "test purchase" from Woot. I have been provided with a Fedex Tracking number, but Fedex claims they are not the shipper. Woot can't explain what is happening and simply stated that if I want a refund I should refuse delivery and one will be provided. However, they could not state how I can get a refund for a delivery that never occurred. I'm very happy this was not a big ticket purchase."

"I have been a woot member for 7 years (for my first purchase. I have followed them everyday since the beginning including their first BoC).
I have made 4 purchases with them over the past 3 months. The first problem was when I ordered 3x mouse and the "order never went through." I talked to customer service about 10 times and they never read the past messages, so I had to type everything from the start EACH TIME for them to even read anything. Still, they didn't do anything for me.
The second problem was when I ordered 3x sig thermos bottles. After 3 weeks seeing the "shipping info was sent" and no progress, I sent them an email.
Same response. "There was a problem with your order. Here is your refund."
Never again, woot."

"Never buy electronics from Woot--i bought a Silo tv--new--it was defective from day 1--wouldn't turn off. Things got worse, it no longer turns on. Woot referred me to the manufacturer who admitted this is a known problem--and referred me to the warranty company--which has no locations other than CA--it will cost $100 to reship--not reimbursed--and there's a good likelihood of a defective tv sent back. Woot takes a hands off stance--and so should customers--stay away from Woot. Had they done their homework, they would have known about the circuit board problem."
