"I am extremely unhappy with not only the service but the lack of order status and feedback I have experienced with this order. I have of yet received my order. I did call 2 weeks after original order date to be told that the item was on backorder. I also sent in a order update through email customer service and was again told the order was on backorder. I still haven't heard a word or a update in regards to my purchase. I don't know if I would ever have the confidence to make another purchase from this site. I was really excited thinking I had found the perfect item but I do believe I will have to cancel my order. I would be more understanding of the backorder status if I would of had the update explaining the delay and then gave the choice if the delay was acceptable. "Working Persons Store has a nice website and catalog with good prices. This is where it all ends though. I placed an order for almost $200 of t-shirts and I waited three weeks before inquiring about the delay. They gave me some kind of story about trouble with their internal order system and were very sorry. It still took another week and a half and a few more inquiries with customer service before I finally got my order.

I was shocked to see that the shipping box lid was wide open when it arrived, due to a bad tape job. To my amazement, nothing was missing. I posted a review at the Working Persons Store website about the great quality of the shirts and the lousy order fulfillment. It was no surprise that they actually edited out the complaint part of my review and kept the glowing part.

This is a perfect example of a great concept for an online store, run by incompetent and perhaps even dishonest business persons. It's amazing that they have stayed in business this long."

"I ordered a pair of boots on 7/12/15. Had to call them last week because I didn't have a tracking number yet. They gave me a funny story. They said Timberland is making my boot and it takes a while because they have to make sure it fits right. I didn't know this was a custom made boot. I sure as hell didn't get measured. How did the website know I needed special boots? I didn't even know that! But ok. So apparently they were supposed to be sent out today, and I should expect them a week from today. But I don't have a tracking number yet and the day's over.

I've been working in a nice pair of nike running shoes. Well they aren't so nice anymore. I saved 25 dollars, assuming i'll actually get the shoes, but it isn't really worth wearing out these. I thought about just buying the shoes for regular store retail but what if they refuse to refund me? Then I'll have 2 pair of the same shoe. So I have to just waste my running shoes.

I'm very disappointed. Clothing is mass produced and easy to ship. There's no reason for this. 15 days later and I am wondering if I am ever getting my boots. A call would have sufficed to keep me waiting patiently. I was lied to, and now I'm just left waiting. No good.

"Before ordering, I checked every local store and it seems no one actually stocks working clothes anymore so I went online to find a source. I found Amazon and WPS.

Since after 5 days, I had not received a tracking number or a shipping notice, I started searching. I found all these largely negative reviews and now I'm worried about my order (7/10/2015) for several pair of work shorts. I checked the 'tracking' on their website and learned that everything I ordered was not in stock and has been ordered from Wrangler/Riggs.

From the years of negative reviews here, I get the impression that WPS doesn't actually have a warehouse and either special orders everything or has it drop shipped from their supplier. I guess I was foolish to think that items not clearly marked 'out of stock' were in stock, in their warehouse. I guess I was also foolish to think that a company that claims to support the working person would actually stock and ship things in a timely manner.

I honestly wish I had just paid the higher price and ordered my shorts from Amazon.

7/23/2015. According to the order tracking on their website, all but one pair of shorts has arrived at their facility. I was told on the phone, on 7/21/2015 that I should have my order in hand on 7/24/2015. I'll believe it when I see it.

7/29/2015. (19 days after order was placed) I received 4/5 pair of shorts that I ordered. There is no mention of the status of the 5th pair on the paperwork inside the package.

8/8/2015. I got a spam e-mail from WPS suggesting that I should buy the same pair of shorts that they still have failed to ship to me. Instead I decided to check the tracking on my order and allegedly they FINALLY have my remaining pair of short in their warehouse. Seeing this e-mail just reminded me how completely awful this vendor is and how you shouldn't expect to see your order in any less than a month.

8/21/2015 I FINALLY received my last pair of shorts. Only took them 6 weeks."
