"I placed an order on 2/8/15 and expected my order to ship promptly. A week after my order was placed, I had to call to check on my status and I was told my order was backordered and had to be ordered directly from Carhart. Do you think your company could advised me of this at the time of order? It is now 2/28/15 and I have yet had any correspondence or staus updates on my order. POOR communication skills and I am highly disappointed that I spent my money with this business. Never again. I still have no idea when I will get my order. This is absolutely no way to run a business. Buyer beware.

Backordered until 8/18/15? Those gloves will come in handy in August! This was the first backorder information I received in 22 days since I placed my order. It is now promptly cancelled and will never do business again with a company who offers a product and doesn't notify or communicate the product is on backorder. So they had my mone (I chose to pay with PayPal) for 22 days and wanted to continue for another 5 1/2 months? No thank you."

"I purchased a pair of Thorogood Men's Wildland Composite Toe 804-6379 EH Firefighter Boots for over two hundred dollars. When they arrived, it was obvious that the boots were factory rejects. Then, Working Persons Store tried to charge me for the shipping to return them. I pointed out that this hidden charge should have been explained in their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, so they sent me a prepaid return label. Last time I shop there."

"This is one of the few places I could find online with an actual selection (i.e. more than 3) of Steel-Toed Dress shoes. I was a little weary of purchasing shoes sight-unseen, especially steel toed shoes; however, I had a quite positive experience in that the shoes were pretty comfortable. I relied heavily on the reviews of others when choosing the particular shoe. Because the shoes I purchased do not look like 'steel-toed shoes', many of my coworkers have asked where I got them, and are interested in getting some for themselves. "Their customer service is second to none. It was tricky finding the perfect workboot for me. I ordered 2 in the wrong size and one in the wrong style. By the time we figured out which boots I needed, the manufacturer had run out of them but failed to notify anyone. Fortunately Working Person's Store took care of me once the boots were back in stock by cutting about $20 off the price & upgrading me to expedited at no cost.
