"I received a defective watch. At their promise of reimbursement, I purchased a new battery. That did not solve the problem. To get my $15 reimbursement, they want my driver's license and credit card info because they will be refunding more than the original purchase. I have agreed to provide this info; HOWEVER they want me to send it by email. They do not have a secure online portal. They do not have a USPS mailing address. They do not any other solution than an unsecure email ==> Ridiculous!
BTW, they use two names - World of Watches and JomaShop"

The customer made a purchase on 09/11/2024 and reported a faulty item on 09/24/2024. A $15 reimbursement for a battery replacement was initially offered. After the issue persisted, the customer was asked to return the item for inspection. Upon receiving the item on 10/09/2024, the company issued a full refund of $185.98 on 10/10/2024.
Efforts to process an additional $15 refund were made, but the customer declined to provide the necessary identity and payment details via email. Alternative refund methods, such as PayPal or store credit, were suggested, but the customer filed multiple complaints across different platforms.
The customer proposed using Zelle or mail for the refund. However, we do not recommend using mail due to the potential risk of sensitive information being misplaced, and we are unable to process payments via Zelle.
