"*** good *** I called to get an update on my order and my call was taken by Dannett. She researched the problem and found out an item on the order had been backordered. She told me she would contact me when she found out when they would be receiving the item. She called me the next day and gave me the information. Very good customer service!
*** bad *** Prior to making the phone call, I sent an email to the support email address provided in the order confirmation to get an update and never received a reply. My thought is, if you know you can't reply to every support email, either don't supply a support email address and force everyone to call or specifically state that not every email will get a response.
UPDATE
It Turned out the product just wasn't right for what I needed. I sent another email to Dannett asking her what I needed to do to return it. She sent an immediate response with an RMA number and the instructions for returning the product. I returned the product just a few days ago and I already see the credit in my checking account. Based on my experience, I would say you don't have to worry about X10's customer service. If you run into problems, ask for Dannett!"

"I had some questions and wasn't able to determine the answer on website- so I called 800 # spoke w/ Markus Davis - who was wonderful. He answered my tech questions etc. quickly and had a very pleasant demeanor. The order was shipped today and is scheduled to arrive Friday! (no charge for shipping is fabulous). It was easy and fast to place the order - I rec'd confirmation email w/in 10 minutes of placing my order over the phone.
