"I have ordered some parts recently from xheli and 2 days AFTER charging the amount from my credit card, they have sent an email with the following request:
"For verification we need you to fax or email us a copy of your credit card and your ID or driver license. You can hide or scratch out your credit card numbers except for the last four digits"
This very likely looks like a scam and I think they'll sell the information to other sites or something like that.
I asked for a refund and cancellation of my order, and will se if they'll do that."
"Absolute biggest piece of garbage I had bought in a long time. Gears strip right off the shaft after 18 minutes of flying, or should I say trying to fly this crappy built thing. Spent 100.00 and through everything right in the garbage, dont even want to look at the stuff. Don't waste your money on a helicopter from here unless you want to throw your money out the window. "
"XHELI is the worst! Wait times on the telephone are intolerable. The don't answer their emails. I have been waiting for a part to come in. Three months have gone by, and the few times that I have been able to get through on the telephone, I have received every answer from "in the next few weeks" to "we don't know" They need to clean up their act. I do not know how they are still in business. Note that XHELI has chosen not to monitor feedback. That should tell you something about their management or lack there of.

"Xheli first sent be a defect. so we called them up and told them what happened. First they offered a part but I said I want and exchange. So I sent it back to them and they sent me another one which is working great. I don't know why people think they have bad customer service. If you know what to do they are fine."
"I have ordered numerous helicopters, accessories, and parts in the past. Past orders I experienced good satisfaction, except for a bad battery in a $16 Syma S107 helicopter they would not replace. I did call them a few weeks after order about that problem. They would not do the right thing. What can I say....Poor customer service, seeing that I spent a few hundred on past orders.
This last order as of August 23, 2012 was a big disappointment.
Went to check out with 5 different helicopters in cart with free shipping offer, and after giving my credit card number and confirming order, they raised the prices on some of the helicopters. Pressed cancel button. Not sure if order went through or not. Not happy with these tactics.
Time well tell if higher priced order went through. If it did, I will present case to credit card company, as I have printed copy of initial order.
I am not sure if I will order again at some further time."

XHeli, is simply a scam, they like many other rc helicopter shops were founded by buying defective helicopters in bulk from the manufacturer, they buy boxes of defective helis, attempt to fix the small problem and then sell them as new. For instance companies like cobra, double horse, syma, blade etc test all there helis in house before shipping, ones with minor defects are then put up for auction in large cases, XHeli purchases these cases, fixes them, and then attempts to sell them as new.
Second, when you complete an order as a guest, they attempt to get you send a photocopy of your drivers license and credit card, why you ask? so they can sell your information out the back door to people to steal your identity. No internet company needs/wants your drivers license.
Third- when reading through the string of posts, i noticed that short positive feedback was tiny but reoccurring. After backtracking the names and ips, all the positive feedback comes from Xheli themselves.

"I have placed 2 orders with Xheli and have had no problems with there customer service.
The 1st. order I ordered 4 helicopters 3 Syma 107G’s and 1 Art-Tech Firefox 4ch helicopter.
When I received my order everything was correct. Two of the 107g’s were gifts and 1 was for me witch worked just fine. The Art-Tech firefox was for me too, and it didn’t work so I called Xheli they gave me a RMA. Mailed the helicopter back and they mailed the replacement helicopter back within 10 days. The 2nd order had no problems at all. That is my experience with Xheli and it was excellent.

"I ordered a helicopter at a good price. It will not fly forwards (I'm an experienced modeller).
When I finally got through an unnecessarily complex complaints process, I was told that it could be a faulty tail rotor motor or circuit board: no suggestion of a replacement for either the parts or the whole thing: just a diagnosis, which I could have provided. This was pathetic service on their part. What's the point of a cheap heli if it doesn't fly? It's worthless."
"Stay away!! Terible customer service. I had a DOA helicopter, it took two weeks, several emails and a final threat of reversing my credit card to get an RMA number. I retuned the heli for credit since they no longer showed that model available. I got a notice that I would receive a credit minus 15% for a restocking fee. Since they "restocked" it, I hope you don't get the same defective helicopter."

"This is the result of an attempt to order a heli from XHeli on Feb 28. I 'chatted' with Chris on 3/13 and found that the color was out of stock. I went back to chat on 3/19 and this is what I got...

Taylor: I do apologize due to upper management we are not able to ship out anything since you filed a Charge back against us from the bank . Your account is closed with us .

Robert Bartlett: Ah, now I understand, your company gets to charge immediately,neglects to ship and gets offended if the customer holds payment until the order is filled. Is that about right?
Taylor: Once a charge back has been filed that means your bank will refund your money , which is not a pending and your account is now closed from us I do apologize."
"VERY DISAPPOINTED. I ordered a volitation 9053, this is my first larger scale helicopter. I was very impressed with their web sight, and considered my first purchase as a entry level to this hobby, and further purchases from xheli. The helicopter arrived 2 weeks later (I live in Canada). On opening the box everything was intact. I tested the helicopter in my living room, and disappointingly the tail rotar did not work. I have called them, and put in hold (there is no 1-800 number), and waited for 20 mins with no answer. I have emailed, several times for different reasons and no response. The cost of the helicopter was reasonable, but my costs in phone calls, and time are increasing. Reading the responses on this review sight, the only ones who are happy are the ones who got their helicopter working, there are more people unhappy because it doesn't work, and xHeli does does not respond. VERY DISAPPOINTED. "
"I don't see why everyone doesn't like the website. I order a 2.4Ghz Transmitter and got it 2 days, even though I paid for regular shipping. Maybe I just got lucky but the prices they had & the fast service doesn't seem half as bad as everyone here is describing it."
