"I ordered a computer case on 10/20/10 in which the merchant told me they had it in stock. They never sent me a tracking number. I called on 10/21/10 and they told me it was shipped. I called them again on 10/24/10 and they told me the case was discontinued. No calls, no emails and my paypal account was not credited until i spoke to another merchant. Shop elsewhere with solid customer service. This place is shady. Good luck getting someone on the phone and their mail box is always full. "

"I wish there was a way I convey my diapprovial of this company. What sham. I ordered apporameitly $70 worth of stuff they charged me 11.81 for 5-7 day shipping. They used USPS to ship the product. Came in a padded enevolope with no extra packing. Of course the ccfl bulbs where broken and the adapters where scratched. This company is terraibale Dont buy from them. I can provide more information if requested email to jrhodes4 at kent.edu Bottom line this company sucks. "

"This is my first order from Xoxide.com. I've not received the item yet so I have no complaints concerning the order's condition or accuracy. However, I'm unhappy with the ridiculous amount of time it's going to take until the ordered in stock item will be delivered to me via Xoxide's default shipping method. Albeit I ordered the item on 9/3/10, which was at the beginning of a holiday weekend, FedEx claims they did not receive the item until today (9/9/10) and their tracking report shows the item's estimated delivery date to be 9/17/10. That's the absolute record for the longest wait time I've encountered for an in stock computer part product from a company within the United States. Xoxide.com's default shipping method seems to be FedEx's "SmartPost" option, which is essentially a pickup by FedEx and a handoff to the US Postal Service. This is apparently a cheap way to send items in bulk. So far I have no other complaints other than this two-week shipping period --holiday time considered or not. I'll update as needed. "

"Just plain HORRIBLE. I wanted a particular power supply that was listed on their site--I could not find it on the major retail sites. I placed an order. I got a different PSU with a similar product number. Problem is that my modded PC case needs the smaller variant of this product line (sorry I should of done a better job of that). Anyways, XOxide could not tell me if was their error or that of the company, which sent the item to me. I just wanted it exchange for the right PSU. I got what I wanted from a different site, no problem. I wouldn’t mind a backup considering the cost to return it to XOxide.com.

Problem is I have a real difficulty contacting customer service. Once I finally was able to talk to someone, but I could not hear the person on the other side. It was like they were on a cell phone and they were losing signal reception. Recently, the automated answering service does not work. It takes them forever to respond to e-mails. I really feel like they are just scamming me. They need to correct their error. However, I guess I might just have to end up selling to someone (if it works).

If you buy from them, get something they cannot mess up—I hope—so that you do not have to deal with them. Out of sight, out of mind… must be there customer service motto.

"The case I ordered was damaged when I received it. I contacted the seller the next business day, and was told that a new case would be shipped out immediately and that UPS would stop by in the next 30 days to inspect the damaged case. 2 days later UPS came by to pick up the case. A week after the damaged case was sent back, I contacted the seller to try to check the status on the replacement case that I had not received. It took several phone calls to finally get someone on the phone, but once I did, the person I spoke with let me know they weren't aware what the status was with my order, they weren't sure what deal the manufacturer had with UPS, they would have to check into it. I asked weather someone was going to call me back and when I would be contacted and was told that I would be emailed back in a few days. Their overall attitude is they don't know, don't care, and if they get around to it in the next few days, they might get back to you. I will be avoiding them for future purchases. "

"Two inexpensive items ordered. Items received were noticably different than illustrated. One was apparently defective. Their return policy is that the customer pays shipping both ways, regardless if the item is defective. I requested an RMA, received an email in return asking if I was returning for refund or replacement. I waited a decent interval after my response that I was returning for refund, then again requested an RMA. I received an email telling me to use the RMA assigned. When I responded that I had never received such a number, there was no response. Nor was there a response to a third such request.

So: erroneous product descriptions,defective merchandise, customer pays for their mistakes, lousy customer support.

Draw your own conclusions.

"Ordered several items from xoxide. They shipped it out the same day. However, they shipped a large heatsink, case fan and a few other items in a padded envelope via fedex smartpost, which was extremely slow. When I opened the envelope, I found that the intel retention module for the heatsink was broken and after installing the fan, found that it also didn't work. I have emailed and called them, having to leave a voicemail. I was extremely disappointed in the packing as well as the shipping method. I will update this review once the issue with the broken items is resolved. However, I don't think I should have to expend any funds to replace items that were obviously shipped very poorly.

Well, xoxide shipped out a new fan, which took a while to arrive but did show up. The fan was replaced at no charge to me and I didn't even have to ship the bad one back.

Overall, They seem like a good merchant with decent customer service, good prices and fast packing. Their use of fedex smartpost however means that items will arrive particularly slowly even though they often ship the same day. Also, I hope that in the future they will ship items in more appropriate packaging to prevent damage during shipping.

"Where to start, I ordered an expensive pc case and gave special instuctions as to what I wanted done before shipping as it costs over 65 bucks to send back. That night I emailed and canceled it. Their site also sais call to make really sure that they got the message, which I did right after emailing them. I also sayed in the phone message I would call in the morning to verify and I did. They then informed me the case was already shippied and there was nothing they could do. I would have to pay shipping back, that cost is $65.00. I found out the case was shipped from a warehouse, they never checked this thing out as I had asked. They simply shipped it, no email or call to say they cheched for the thigs I asked for, nothing. I emailed them about an RMA and shipping label but all they could do was the RMA because it wasn't thier policy to give a shipping label. They said it cost them $30 to send I sayed it cost twice that to send back. So I called the shipper and canceled the box. Why didn't they instead of OH WELL WE CAN'T DO ANTHING. I have been emailing back and forth with these guys. All these excuses and argue and argue their point. Enough DO NOT do business with them. The last email from them was to tell me (it will take a long time to get a refund because of all the boxes they have to go through. Isn't the number on the box, are they hand checking each. It's a computer store!! Aren't they computerized. STAY AWAY FROM these BUMS. If Newegg would have had the item I wouldn't be in this mess. What a GARBAGE company

P.S.
I am still waiting for a refund and it looks like I'll be waiting for quite some time. I have not gotten an email giving me any status on this dead order and if I don't get one soon I'll be contacting PayPal and sending a report into the internet leg of the FBI to report them. They won't be getting away with ripping me off, I can tell you that.

"This company is very lacking in communication. Supposedly the only way to get the latest status on your order is through e mail, yet they never email anything other than thanks for your business. Oh wait, I finally got a tracking number for a package that I received last week. Too bad it's only half my order. I have no idea where the rest of the order is. Is it out of stock? Backordered? Dont know. They charged me for it but I haven't received and I get no answer through email or phone. There are better places to order from than this one. I've opened a complaint with paypal. Hope it works out for me."

"***WARNING*** DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SELLER!!!

I have been going back and forth for 3 days trying to get my merchandise shipped. His latest story is "USPS must have been slow updating their site." USPS.com shows that only yesterday was an order for shipment requested,today still showing no shipment at all. I use them all the time and never has the Post Office failed to update tracking numbers on a timely basis. I have escalated this w/ PayPal as all I have gotten in response were bs stories.

Unfortunately,Monday is the earliest I can enter the claim for a charge back from PayPal. 4 days and counting and the sad thing is,I am one day away by FEDEX (Which is what I paid for,NOT USPS!) Cory is a cheap con artist & liar,save yourself the trouble that I'm going through.

The worst part is,the original owner was great to deal with. This person Cory is ruining a formerly pleasurable buying experience!

I have since received my order. 6 days later,which is shameful because they are 1 day away by any shipping company. I did pay for FEDEX ground shipment,not the less expensive USPS 1st class mail. And no,I'm not happy.

"Have ordered from Xoxide before and received wonderful service and parts. Unfortunately, this last order has gone terribly wrong. Ordered parts again on Feb. 5, 2010. Suppose to take maximum of 1-2 weeks USPS or 5-7 days Fedex. Went on vacation in FL, came back and package still was here. Its now been two weeks. Called customer service but couldnt get anyone on phone. Emailed, same thing. Waited a few more days, called CS again and got someone on the line. At this point, they still hadn't shipped it. Didn't have a track no. assigned either. They jumped right on it and said it would take 3 days to arrive through Fedex. It has arrived at the Fedex facility but will be sitting there for 2 more days now. Called Fedex and they cannot release for a pickup either. Will have had the customer waiting on these parts for over 3 weeks. Next time will have to use a different company that ships UPS, who let you pick it up anytime here.

Parts arrived protected nicely with plenty of foam. Parts work great. No problems at all. Will likely use Xoxide again in the future. Hoping this was a rare incident as orders get misplaced sometimes.
