"Absolutely terrible service. Went with this company because of 2-day Fedex shipping on Mobo I needed. Took 3 days just to process order and needed another day to ship. Getting someone on the phone is hit or miss within there limited hours (9am-1pm). Ultimately cancelled my order because I didn't see where they would get my order to me when I needed. Am still waiting (over a week now) for the company to make a chargeback to my credit card. "

I also got email each step of the order process and a Fedex tracking number the day after Christmas.

Awesome price -- lowest on the web -- and unbelievably speedy delivery, especially during the beginning of the Christmas rush, will have me checking the ExtremeGear website first for future purchases.
The only other comments/questions I have is 1) how this company handles returns, defective merchandise, etc. , and 2) customer service via phone -- how long are wait times; how understanding/sympathetic are the customer service reps, etc.? I've had miserable experiences with Creative Labs, so-so service from others, and top-of-the-line assistance from Crucial.
If ExtremeGear's customer service is anything like their prices & prompt delivery, this company, like Crucial, is truly a gem.

"I made a motherboard purchase on the 20th of December. Eventhough I selected FedEx 3 Day Select shipping, I didn't expect the package before christmas. I recieved an email today with the FedEx tracking number and decided to see how far my package was. As it turns out, it is still stuck at a sort facility in california because buyxg.com shipped the package to an incorrect address. I am now trying to find out if they have resolved the issue with fedex or even know of the error. Every time I try to call, they automatically put me on hold and do not get back to me (I have not waited for longer than 15 minutes - even CC companies with millions of customers don't make you wait that long on hold). I have sent an email addressing the issue, and am now awaiting a reply. With a lot of luck, hopefully I will recieve my package before the end of the week.
To their credit, a representative from XtremeGear called me later that night after receiving my email and informed me that they had corrected the mistake with FedEx - in addition, because of the mishap and delay that caused, they upgraded my shipping to NextDayAir so my package arrived the next day."
