Open box purchase bed cover

"Description said fully functional all parts are there “very good” condition… called them they said yes this thing works fine other than a few minor scratches and maybe a crack on a piece that doesn’t do anything… received package today with no side rails to attach it to… plastic piece was completely broken no hardware for mounting to deck rail system no screws or bolts all I received was drain tubes bed cover and bed cover canister cover…. Never again"

Worst Customer Service I have received in years

"Highly disappointed.

I have worked in some form of Customer Service and Sales for over 3 decades. If you are thinking about buying from Extremeterrain, In My Humble Opinion (IMHO) you should stay away, and IMHO be aware they do not care about your satisfaction!!!

IMHO Extremeterrain is not for anyone looking for solid, dependable, reliable, ethical, and respectful customer service and support.

Sales Rep was great at the start. Appeared very knowledgeable about parts and Broncos. I thought I would be a customer for life after the first encounter. Boy was I wrong…

Order was lost in shipment (not his/their fault) Extremeterrain did not even know the package was lost when I contacted them. Tracking on system was FedEx but shipment was on UPS, so tracking capabilities from link they provide did not work. The package remains lost. Apparently it is a third party shipper according to the parts department. That was their excuse. They don’t tell you that when you order. I thought I was purchasing from Extremeterrain.

Here is where they went wrong IMHO - The replacement order was placed July 1 with a lost package claim. Now, 3 days later, new replacement order is not even processed in their system per Parts Department.

This new order showed in the app yesterday with an ETA of July 14 and today shows an ETA of July 15, even though original order should have been delivered by July 1. Customer Service would not let me talk to a supervisor after multiple escalation attempts.

Extremeterrain Customer Service also told me I needed to track the shipment by calling UPS by phone myself and finding it, even though Extremeterrain lost the package, and cannot tell me the exact location and why it is being held.

This is what I found by tracking on UPS on the original package - “This package is being held for a future delivery date. Waldorf, MD, United States.” It does. It state who is holding it.

New ETA on UPS for original package is July 16. BTW, I live in Texas. Who knows how the shipment ended up there or why it takes two weeks to get to Texas from anywhere in the USA.

The other part of my order was delivered on time. Obviously they have my correct shipping info. This was confirmed with Customer Service three times.

After wasting 42 minutes with the Parts Department, the Sales Rep called me at my request, but took the wrong tone to speak to a customer, and further hung up on me.

He said that me “not having the parts delivered as promised should not matter because the car runs fine without them.” IMHO this was an extremely ridiculous statement. I was blown away by it. Who is he to tell a customer what is important to them and what is not?

Not that it is any of his business, but the front bumper needs to be removed for installation of these replacement crash bars, and I have a lift scheduled for next week (already postponed once due to the original delay). The bumper will be removed in order to take off the original crash bars to fit 35” tires. I don’t want to go for a second removal of the front bumper, which will cost extra.

Extremeterrain may be very knowledgeable about parts, but IMHO they do not know how to treat customers properly.

To be clear, I only asked for timely delivery and expediting of the replacement order. I did not ask for credits or discounts. I believe in paying for value. I thought that is what I would get from Extremeterrain. They were not the least expensive site, but Sales sleeked knowledgeable. Unfortunately I chose Extremeterrain.

The Sales Rep said he would be canceling my orders (plural) prior to hanging up on me. He only canceled the replacement order. The original order is still active and the charge is still on my credit card. Not sure why. I would expect both orders to be canceled, a full credit to my credit card be issued since they have not delivered the parts and cannot tell me where they are for sure. IMHO I doubt if they are even ethical…

Extremeterrain could have had me as a customer for life with a new Bronco ready for many mods. Instead I would say to anyone thinking of using them that if I were them, I would stay away based on my experience!

I waited over 2 hours for a Sales Manager to call me to discuss prior to me posting this review. Perhaps they must have many complaints keeping them busy, or my case may not be important enough. So far, no call back.

If you are a member of the Leadership Team at Extreme Terrain, and want to learn more about this case, I welcome you reaching back out to me. I am sure your Customer Service group has my contact details.

"My rough country handles snapped after 3 days and my wife weighs 140 lbs shouldn’t break that easy. I have now fasted with metal clips and fixed the issue myself "

Took forever to get order
