"I ordered a Motion M1200 from XtremeNotebooks.com intially because they had the best price I found on the Internet. Initially, I found it odd that they would charge me extra for using certain credit cards and gave me an incentive to send them either a check or wire them the money instead by offering a discount for "cash" transactions.
I was a little apprehensive at first not having dealt with this company to send them a check before getting my order, but having read some of the reviews, I decided to order. Since then, all my fears went out the window. From the first contact with their customer service [Mark], I was completely won over. Not only did a HUMAN answer the phone, it was a KIND and PATIENT person. I've purchased a lot of merchanise on the Internet - usually major purchases (e.g., 4 computers, 3 CD players, 1 DVD player, various Pro-Audio equipment). I have to admit that I dread dealing with customer service department of Internet vendors (you know, the myrid of phone menu options, being on hold forever, only to be told that I have to put in the order again or make my complain online). The only reason I put up with them is because of the prices.
To my amazement, I got both through Xtremenotebooks.com. Not only were the customer service the best I have ever dealth with online, they had the best prices to boot. Even when I put them in an ackward position, they were most polite and accommodating. I confused another web offer with theirs after I already put in the order. The confirmation of my order did not include a keyboard in its list. When I called to complain why, I found out I confused another web vendor's package with theirs. The rep would have had every right to dismiss my complaint (and call me an idiot at the same time), but instead, not only was he courteous regarding my mistake, he included a keyboard for me! How's that for customer service! He certainly didn't have to do that and I certainly didn't expect it. Not only that, they emailed me back PERSONALLY (not those canned automated responses) for every question I had (total of 3).
Well, to make a long story short, it's been a really LONG time since I have run into a vendor who actually care for their customers. He genuinely cared about my experience and took steps to take care of my needs. You can always find a merchandise elsewhere, but a vendor who cares for their customers is truly a rare gem indeed. Xtremenotebook.com just won themselves a loyal customer. All my friends looking to purchase anything that they have will be getting a personal plug from me. "I received my notebook 5634 (Edge) on Friday, June 20th, 2003. All I can say is WOW! This notebook screams. I have loaded tons of graphic programs on it with no difficulty in their functioning and the notorious Adobe products which take forever to load-all load extremely fast. I want to say “Thank You” to Mark; as we talked about the product he steered me back towards the 5634, from the 8834, due to the x-wide viewing screen angles in addition to the screens remarkable color and vibrancy. He was right;this is one of the best notebook screens I’ve seen. I researched notebooks for about 8 months before purchasing this Edge. I went with Xtreme, a relative unknown, because I found a few good reviews hanging out in cyber land by others who own either the 5634 or the 8834. Xtreme uses a good laptop base in the Clevo and has great value in product line. The prices out did Dell and Toshiba for a similar notebook. It is difficult for me to get clients to purchase relative unknowns. However, that said, my machine will be part of the product pitch to those clients looking for a great machine at a good value. Xtreme Notebooks fits the bill."
"I purchased the 8834 thru xtremenotebooks.com because it was the hottest laptop on the market. I've been in computing heaven ever since I recieved it. I actually bought it to play c&c generals on it. It ROCKS! The graphics are extremely smooth. I hooked up my tv cable up to the built in tv tuner and it is awesome. I can move the window around with the tv playing and see no degredation....INCREDIBLE! I have had no trouble with this machine at all. I especially love the keypad and 16.1 inch uxga screen!"

I ordered it on 04/11 and expecting that it will be shipped by 04/17. However, due to some problem they informed me it won't be shipped till 04/22. When I told them it was a gift for my wife on her b'day, they promptly sent it via ups 3 day instead of ground without any extra charge to me.
During the ordering process, all my emails were answered within an hr and I never had to wiat on phone for them. Steve and Jeff are very polite and courteous in dealing with customers. and their price is even lower than Prostar's price!

"There are so many wonderful things to say about his company and their product I can't think of where to start. After looking at the prices of the Dell 8000's, we had to try one of the 5694's. Needless to say, we now have over 15 of them. We also recently grabbed a couple of the 8894's, and can't beleive these. Personally, I thought that it couldn't get any better than the 5694's, but I was wrong. I would recommend this seller to anyone that is looking for a laptop, and doesn't feel like paying 2 1/2 times the cost for a "dell" name.
