"Love my Zager OM 80 guitar. Have been playing it almost every day for 10 months and am making great progress. If I have trouble playing something on one of my other guitars I know I can switch back to my Zager and work through it."
"I just received my ZAD80 guitar from Zager. Opened the shipping box immediately and couldn't be happier. The craftsmanship is apparent at first glance, but the closer you look at the details, the better it becomes. Couldn't wait to play my new ZAD80 and it was everything I expected. Beautiful tone quality. This guitar is everything that I wanted from a top-quality guitar. I look forward to playing it for many years to come. The folks at Zager are very helpful, they will answer any questions you may have. If you are thinking of buying a guitar, check out their website. "
"I normally don't spend any time writing reviews...why should I praise a product only because it does what it is supposed to do? However, since Zager Guitar went out of their way to help me, I am going to go out of my way to let people know that their Customer Support is just as great as their guitars.
The quick story...I purchased a Zager guitar from a retailer and it was missing an item. Not a big deal but I thought my odds of getting a solution would be better to write to the manufacturer Vs the retailer to resolve the problem. Amazingly, within 5 minutes I received a return email from Zager offering to fix my problem ASAP! That, my friends, is the way to do business and show you care about your customers. And by the way...love the guitar!"
"I recently purchased the OM 80 and it was exactly what they said it was and if you have any questions they are very fast at responding and always there to help."
"Tweaked the truss rod a bit and holy cow the action is like my Tele. After playing the Zager for awhile and going to my Taylor and then back to the Zager, I think I like the Zager in some respects better. I never had any acoustic play as good. Nothing plays like a Zager. I've had Yamaha, Gibson, Alvarez, Epiphone, Martin's and Taylor's with pro setups and nothing plays like it. Also getting help and advice from the Zager website is so easy and helpful. You would never get service like this from any other guitar seller. "
"I just received my Zagar Travel Guitar and it doesn't sound like a travel guitar. As an engineer by education and profession I always do a detailed inspection of new products I purchase with flashlight and magnifying glass. I was extremely impressed with the build quality of my new Zagar guitar. The weight and looks of the all solid wood construction gave it a good feel of sturdiness. It's is a looker too with the abalone, gloss finish and the African mahogany body. I am not partial to the rough matte finish that some companies produce. I have been searching for a wood travel guitar and played all the well-known Baby's and JR's and even bought one of the baby's and swapped pins and put on handmade strings and while I made it better, it still had that tinny sound that made it so unsatisfactory. My new Zagar Travel has a great balanced sound with a full throat of low's. You really would not know that it is a Travel Guitar without looking at it. My Zagar Travel Guitar compares very close to the Baby Collings that i tried here in Nashville. I actually definitely prefer the looks of the Zagar Travel Guitar, as far as sound I actually think the Zagar captures a little more of the low's. So check'em out."
"My experience was really nice"
"This the best sounding, playing quality guitar I have ever owned or picked up. Bar none. The quality and workmanship of not just the guitar but the case, strings and picks are phenomenal. This was a very big decision for me as I am retired and on a fixed income. No buyers remorse here. The response of Denny Zager Jr. and his customer service team is fantastic. I researched and read many reviews over several weeks before I made my decision. "
"Easily one of the best guitars I have ever played. The craftmanship is definitely at the top of the industry. "
"As a beginner using a ZAD50CE I have found that the death grip that I had on the guitar was completely counter productive, I could only stand it for about 10 Minutes, When I found how light the pressure needed to be to form the chords practice became very enjoyable. It has been three months since starting and continues to be a pleasure to play . Thank You , Mike Carter"
"I’m not a professional guitar player – I play for my own enjoyment, for my family, and for my friends. Several years ago I decided to upgrade my trusty Seagull S6+ and after a good deal of worrying about buying a guitar online I took the plunge and bought a ZAD50CEOM. As soon as I received my ZAD50 I knew that I had made the right decision in buying from Zager. I immediately loved the playability, sound, look, and feel of my new guitar. After 3 or 4 years with my ZAD50 I decided to upgrade again and move to the top of the line – I bought a ZAD900CEOM. I’ve had that guitar for 1.5 years and simply could not be happier with it. The guitar is a beautiful piece of workmanship, the sound is lovely, and the playability is better than I could have expected. Every time I play someone else’s guitar I’m eager to get back to my ZAD900 because I know that the playability will be so much better. Since my two Zager guitars were online purchases I was worried about customer service. I didn’t need to worry. Dennis has been available by email/phone to answer any and all of my questions – Zagers customer service is top-notch. Don’t be afraid to buy a Zager online – you will be more than happy with your purchase. "
"I am a beginner just learning to play. I have hand me down guitars. I wanted a good quality guitar that is easy to learn on. I came across the Zager on Facebook and decided to check it out. I received my Zager ZAD50CE guitar today. It looks and sounds great. I had a few friends that play a lot, check it out. They really liked the guitar and were going to look into them. Some had Fenders and Taylors. The customer service was great. "
"Why is it rare to buy a used ZAD20BK? Because players who buy a Zager, keep them. Mine came with a K&K Pure mini pickup which was installed by the previous owner (which was a bonus I was unaware of when I purchased it sight unseen). I love the low action, the radius at the bridge, the wider nut and separation of the strings which help my chunky short fingers to fret and pick. Fingerstyle drives me to guitar, and this guitar is always the first one I grab when I am ready to practice. I am an older beginner (upper 50's) and I own 4 acoustic guitars. The Zad20 is just easier to play for me. You are never too old to dream a new dream or acquire a new skill. For me, it is therapy and joyous to bring joy to the souls of others through music, and I can finally accompany myself. Go for it, get a Zager and you can learn to make beautiful music too."
"I chose this guitar because I am a beginner with the ambition to become a much better player than I am now. The Zager ZAD50CEOM is a beautiful instrument that inspires me to achieve a level of playing skill that will be worthy of this instrument. It is easy to play and I am very satisfied with my choice."
"Purchased the Parlor Size Mahogany guitar. This is a true work of art! The fit and finish is amazing! Truly beautiful. This guitar plays nicely, and the sound is amazing!"
