"I ordered a Canon Rebel T2i DSLR camera from BestPricePhoto.com about a month ago because they had one of the best prices online. I had an issue with my credit card company because I was having the camera shipped to my office rather than my billing address. Once I notified BPP of this and I got the shipping issue resolved, BPP upgraded my shipping from 7-9 business days to 3 day business without me asking them to.
I got my camera promptly, new in box. But the promo accessories didn't ship with it. I called BPP back and spoke with Raymond. He immediately apologized for the error and threw a couple more free items (4gb card and a better camera case) and is having it shipped to me by 3-day business.
Each time I've called BPP, they have always been really courteous and friendly. I would recommend BPP to others and my friends if they're in the market to buy camera products. "

"As an entery level photographer I orderd the Canon T21. Unfortunitly when I ordered the Camera the store was closed but since they could not process the order until they had reopend they gave me ZEIKOS Digital Flash for free and also upgraded my memmory card to 16GB. I was very impressed that before they put the order through they gave me a call at home to make sure my order was correct. After speaking with the sales person I then upgraded my order to include the greater battery pack and, mini card reader, uv protector and the accessory kit thinking that I would eventually need all of this later anyway and it saved me some money by just ordering the package deal that they had offered. I was told that the camera would arrive in 2-3 days and to my suprise it was at my front door at 10am the next morning. Now that is good service."
"I'm just off the phone with BestPricePhoto.com and I'm very unhappy with this reseller and their business practices.
In short: they changed my order, added low quality lenses priced $21.99 on Internet and charged me $220.99 for them (10x the value) - and refused to take the return.
That is not fair practice to me - and regular business practice compliant with their policy to them. I may be biased by my anger but you can decide for yourself which one it is.
My story,
I've been going to holiday on Oct 14th and decided to buy new lens for the trip.
I send my order:
Monday 03 October, 2011 - Shipping Method (7 to 9 Business Day Ground)

So far so good.
Next day I received e-mail from Chris:
"Thank you for your purchase, because of the high value of your order, please contact us at 1-***-***-**** x502 to confirm your order before we ship it..."
I did call and:
1. Chris tried to sell additional extended warranty for the lens - which is obviously bad deal for any customer as Canon provides very good warranty out of the box for their lenses - so I rejected it.
2. Chris informed me that the filters I ordered are not available and managed to convince me that he will replace them with high quality HD professional filters and it will cost me only $17 (or $70 - I couldn't understand) more. Chris didn't reveal the maker of the lenses, model of the lenses or any details - it is huge mistake on my side that I said yes to the offer - silly, silly me. Lesson learned: Never, ever agree to any change to your order over the phone. Never.
On Oct 7th - 4 days after my order I received e-mail that my package has been shipped.
It was cryptic and I started getting worried.

2 77mm HD Professional High Resolution Three Piece Filter Kit - $0.00
3 Deluxe Package - $1,149.99
Warning signs:
1. No name or maker of the filters.
2. No price of the filters.
3. No price of the lens.
4. Good I am with the math and I can do $1,149.99 - $929.00 = $220.99 for the filters. I cannot do the math that this is only 17/70 dollars more than the filter I ordered.
First impressions:
1. They are trying to hide something - definitively the maker and price of filters.
2. Filters are $220.99. OMG they better be great.
3. How the hell did they come up with $17/70 number?
I instantly felt that this was wrong - but I can always return the package if filters are bad - it is the law - right? WRONG.
The package didn't arrive before me leaving (10 business days after the order).
I came back and found the package in reception of my building- arriving 1 or 2 days after me leaving. Opened it and found those filters:
Zeikos-ZE-FLK77-Multi-Coated-Filter-UV-CPL-FLD
OK. That was too much. Selling filters worth $21.99 for $220.99 is wrong. So I contacted the customer support over e-mail and got reply that I need to call.
I did call just now. And conversation went like this:
1. I explained the problem.
2. I was told I cannot return the filters. I can return all the package and I can expect to get $975 back - which means they are charging me $174.99 for return - and I need to pay for the package shipment on top of that - not cool - but I read their policy and seen the 10% restocking fee.
3. I don't care about the money and that I'm loosing $200 on this - it is about the principals - I would like to return the package anyway.
4. You can't return the package - because I closed your account yesterday. We also have 10 day return policy.
5. So you are saying I cannot return the package? And I cannot do anything about it? Yes, sorry, bye.
Now. I don't think this is cool and I am afraid to go home and check if the lens works at all.
So I cannot do anything about my order - but I can help others who are considering buying from BestPricePhoto.com
Update: Reseller claims my lense was updated to retail - but what I received is white box with no manual, drivers etc - Internet says it is definition of the white box. Also it is not true that I had an option to return the product - I wanted to return it, I agreed on paying $200 fee for that but I couldn't due to 10 day return policy. Anyways. My lens seems to be working fine and it is was not a bad deal in the end - just not as good as I expected it to be. I updated my star score.
