"I ordered an expensive camera to take on a trip with me. I called BestPricePhoto to purchase it and they were very helpful in getting the camera out to me that day so that I could get it the following day.
I received the camera the following day and was very disappointed. The box had been opened, the battery had been replaced by a generic battery, one of the cables was not in a plastic bag, the plastic cover that covers the display of the camera had multiple fingerprints on it and the plastic film that in new cameras covers this plastic cover was missing. All this was evidence to me that this camera was not new, or at least, that it had been manipulated.
I called BestPricePhoto the following day. I spoke to Raymond who was very helpful in trying to get the issue resolved. He called the shipping department who explained that sometimes, people ask for a different battery and that they had opened the box to replace the battery and sent me that box by mistake. That could potentially explain why the battery was a generic one, but there was still no logic explanation for why the camera had fingerprints and the plastic film was missing. Why would someone do that, unintentionally? Raymod assured me that the camera was new and gave me some compensation for this hassle.
Had I not been ready to go on a trip and not payed $90 to get this fedexed to me the next day, I probably would have returned the camera and asked for a new, unopened one. Either way, this whole experience was very suspicious to me. If you are doing business with them, be sure to ask for a new, unopened box, with all the original parts.

"I ordered a Canon 60D camera on 08/18/2011 and received it on 23/08/11. Everything is fine except instead of a canon battery pack I received a non Canon battery. I called the customer service for assistance and Raymond Walker fixed the problem by promising sending me the original Canon battery free. I expect the battery will arrive on 08/26/11. Sure, the product, price, and shipping were all great. But--and this is a big BUT--I have serious concerns about the security of their web site (or the trustworthiness of the company itself).
Directly following my purchase, my credit card information was compromised and several fraudluent purchases were made. Since I'm in Iraq, have the card in my possession, and only used it for that purchase, I knew these two events were connected. I gave Best Price Photo the benefit of the doubt and assumed that a the security breach had been on my end, through the computer or network I used. Now, the company maintains that the web site is secure and they the credentials to prove it. So, how then was this credit card information compromised? Unless this is some unlikely coincidence, the only weak link left is the company and its employees."
"Bought Canon T3i body over internet and it came with bonus stuff and free shipping in just 4 days. This was the lowest price store, but it works as any else - except you do not get a tracking number.
I first ordered T3i along with Canon 17-85 USM lens, but they called me back and suggested that I get a newer 18-135 lens as a part of a kit for about the same price. That forced me to put the order on hold and re-investigate the lenses and I ended up buying just a body from BestPricePhoto and got the Tamron 18-270 elsewhere. The customer service was easy to reach and communicate with. They will probably try to sell you relevant stuff like battery & memory card, but they do not pressure much on that.
