Service tanked (got really bad) within the past year, so I just fired your company...and found a new one to do the work and schedule an appointment in the next two weeks, in less than 5 minutes. To find out how I did that you will have to pay me money."

Finnally got a normal connection a few days later and an explanation of options. If I had a serious immediate immergency I was out of options and no way to correct it. A very SERIOUS PROBLEM????? "I was very disappointed with my request for a heating inspection. When I first called, I was asked to push 1 if I was over 50 yrs old. I suddenly found myself connected to someone who told me I had been selected to receive a free medical alert device. I was not happy that I was being subjected to this sales pitch when I was trying to contact BGE Home. I politely declined to offer and hungup. I consider this bait and switch scam directed toward the elderly to be something that BGE Home should not condone and wonder why this could happen when calling the BGE Home telephone number. The second time I called, I got through immediately to BGE Home. I requested an inspection appointment for my heating system and was told it could not be scheduled until mid January. I was surprised and disappointed that it would take this long and wondered if it was because I have already purchased a contract which includes this service. I was not pleased with my this BGE Home experience."
