"I have called BGEHome in the past & received excellent service. This call to request an estimate for replacement of an electric panel in my condo was uncharacteristically HORRIBLE! After navigating the call menu system, I was momentarily placed on hold by the system & I listened to music on hold. Then the music stopped, & for several minutes there was silence. I said repeatedly said 'Hello', but there was no response. After several minutes of expressing my dissatisfaction with a friend during this silence, a representative finally came on the line. She claimed that she heard everything that I was saying although I could not hear her. After stating the reason for my call, there was once again a period of unannounced silence. Having been an IT professional who supported a call center for a major bank for several years, I recognize the signs that a representative has been unprepared or unwilling to handle a call that is presented from the queue. This is unacceptable service!"
