"If Zero stars were an option that’s what I’d put for the entire company as a whole, online service was the worst!! Very FRUSTRATED!!! TERRIBLE customer service!! I ordered a pair of boots on 12/11/21 costing $855. It is now 1/7/22 after multiple emails with only one short reply and hours of phone calls. I spoke to 2 different representatives the first guy was just rude and never got back with me, the second lady was very nice I feel she tried her best, what she promised me was not full filled, she stated that the store miss placed the order and they were going to go get the boots off the floor and will send them the next day, nothing was done.. I have finally received somewhat of good news after researching myself and finding the direct location of where the shipment was coming from and called the store.. The “news” was, the shipping label was created but there seems to be a problem, someone may or may not have packaged them, then unpackaged the boots and placed them back on the sales floor, sorry we will just refund you the money and you’ll be added to the “PILE” of refund orders and as soon as they get to you in the pile they will email you regarding the refund!! WHAT!! Seriously I didn’t want a refund, I just wanted the dumb boots for my husband.. The photo I added is logged hours, I spent on the phone with customer service and nothing resolved!! I understand there is a pandemic going on, I work in the medical field, it has never hindered me from preforming my job correctly and attentively and if I was unavailable, someone else “able” to preform my position was put in my place.. No excuses..

"My daughter sent her Dad a gift card back in June of 2021. We still have not been able to use it because Cavenders put in a new system and it will not honor e-gift cards. We have contacted them several times but we cannot get any help,.
When I finally found a gentleman to help me he did everything to get a new one out to us but we still have not received it. Cavenders does not respond to email, they do not take telephone calls (you are always 102 on the list waiting for an answer) and there is no customer service priority for them.
I don't know what organization runs Cavenders. I can only hope people find a better outlet where they can get real service. I am very disappointed. I will not go back and I will tell everyone I know about my experience with Cavenders.
And I have written 3 bad reviews and never heard a word so obviously they do not care. "

So, since I spent a good deal of money, I called to find out what the deal was. I waited on the phone for 3 hours and 13 minutes, just to be hung up on when I number 2 in line!! I’m ****! I’m tired of hearing excuses of lack of workers. You can’t blame this on the postal service because they haven’t even shipped. Managers and CEO’s you need to improvise!! This is the poorest customer service I’ve ever experienced! Authentic western…. Y’all ain’t gotta cowboy in the place! If you did, crap would be getting done.

"Ordered … thought everything was good then looked at credit card statement to see I had been reimbursed. Checked tracking status and item had been canceled without notification. Ordered from a few different locations like (sheplers, wildwest and horse creek) at the same time. Actually received product from the others before I knew my order from cavenders was cancelled. "

"Placed an order for 9 items on 12/7/2021. These were all Christmas presents for my wife. The first 2 items arrived individually before Christmas. 1 more item is arriving today(12/31/2021). I was just notified today by email that the other 6 items have been cancelled! Thanks for ruining Christmas Cavender's. Zero communication over the last 3 weeks. As far as I knew, the items were on the way, just late. Never again!"
"Ordered 12/4 said would ship in four days. After 7 days called asked for call back every other day. No response no merchandise. Waited on hold after 14 days for 2 hours. Told boots were being expedited. 5 days still no boots called back asked for supervisor. Supervisor was to call back~ still waiting on call. Still no merchandise. No response to three emails, 10 phone calls for call back, and 2 for supervisor. Poor customer service and lame excuses about phone and computer problems. "
"I ordered something on 12/4. After a week I called customer service and they said they had a two week ship window (not mentioned anywhere when I ordered). I emailed customer service 4 times and did not receive a response. I called customer service and the phone were down saying to email. Got an email this morning (Christmas Eve) saying my order had been cancelled. Very very frustrating. Never ever again."
"My son wanted a particular hat sold through Cavenders. I ordered weeks before Christmas. About a week or so before Christmas they canceled the order. No real explanation. Just excuses basically blaming the pandemic. I went back on their website and they still had two in stock. I purchased again knowing it would not be here by Christmas but I figured that’s why they canceled the other order. Well it’s a couple days before Christmas and now they’ve canceled it again. No explanation really. Will not do business with them again. They obviously don’t have their act together. "
"ordered on 12/12- didn't receive order confirmation until 2 days later- I paid for shipping and order tracking still says "In Process" - when I try to call the message says to email- when I email there is no response. Had to call corporate office- all they could do was email customer service manager- I requested a refund- let's see what happens!"
"Ordered boots and vest. Vest came in 3 days. Boots still showing in process 12 days later. Called customer and all you get is a recording they can answer. Email them as the recording states. And never got a email back. "
"My Granddaughter wanted a pair of jeans for Christmas, she sent me the link to Cavender's and her size. I immediately ordered them. I received a confirmation saying that they had received my order and that they would be shipping them out. I assumed all was well as I had no other communication from Cavender's about my order. 10 days later I called my daughter to see if they had arrived. They had not. So I pulled up my confirmation and then did research to see the tracking information only to discover that the order had been canceled and they hadn't notified me. I called the customer service number and after waiting on hold for 75 minutes, I gave up and reordered them. This time her size wasn't listed so I went a size up. Same thing, received a confirmation of my order, this time I only waited a week before going in search of tracking information only to discover that they had canceled my order again and again hadn't emailed me. I called customer service and was number 252 in the que, so I left my number for a call back. Four hours later they called me and while being very polite said that the order had been canceled because they were out of her size. But why hadn't they notified me? Well, they are busy. No more ordering from Cavender's. "

I ordered a pair of jeans for my fiance on 11/26/21 (Black Friday deals). The order got placed, said 4 days ground shipping but with the extended times for shipping lately it said it could take longer. Thats fine, I can wait, no issues. 5 days go by. Nothing. A week. Nothing. So I call the number. Says im #120 in the que. Requests call back. Nothing.
Today is now 12/14. I have requested callbacks every other day since. Today I checked my account for the shipping status, and the order was mysteriously CANCELED. NO REASON, NO NOTICE GIVEN, NO CALL BACK, NOTHING. Dont waste your time or money with this terrible garbage service. Just go into the store. Shocking to think that a place with such great customer service in store can have such a terrible online service. Do better Cavenders. "
"Ordered a pair of boots online that were “in stock” on 12/6/21. Got an email on 12/12/2021 canceling my order with no explanation. Call customer service and the only thing she can tell me is that they are showing out of stock now. I wouldn’t have ordered them in the first place if they were out of stock. S*#! "Placed order December 2, website said up to 4 days to process then 4-6 days to deliver. After waiting 10 days and order still saying in process I called customer service which is a joke. They couldn't tell me if the item was in stock and was going to ship or not and told me they are not allowed to contact the store to find out. Since I needed it for a specific date I told them if I had no updates by the end of the day I would have to look elsewhere and cancel order. Later on I get an email saying my order was canceled because the item was out of stock. If I hadn't called, no telling how long I would have waited. I will never order from them again. If it's not in stock at my local store I will order it from somone else. This was ridiculous "
