"I ordered on December 3 my order came within 4 days BUT I was missing 1 pair of Jean's from the order, the invoice that came with my order said 3 but I only got 2 so I emailed them,no response so I called over and over I started out being number 257 or 299 ,after being on hold for 3 hours when it hot to number 6 EVERY time it would hang up I sat on hold a total of 11 hours trying to contact them. So I found their fax number to the warehouse sent them a fax with my order number and what was missing, this is a Christmas gift they need to get on the ball!"
"I ordered a simple Cavender's Cowboy Collection 3X Pecan Cattleman's Crown Premium Wool Cowboy Hat for $63.00 11/3/2021. The order has been 'In Processing' status for 6 weeks. I have called 6 times, each time there were 250 calls ahead of mine and will call me back. I would get a callback 5-6 hours later. They looked at the order and showed it was in stock and didn't know why it wasn't shipped by now. I would be put on hold for 20-25 minutes and then come back saying the order should be shipped in next few days. This was repeated for 5 separate calls said the same thing except 1 agent said, "she knows to get thing done, I'm very persuasive". I gave in after asking for a refund and gave her a week. A week later, NO ACTION! Same status and NEVER received a promised email. I called back once again, went thru the 7-hour waiting routine for a callback. Finally call came in and requested only a refund. She looked at my status and past notes for 25 minutes as usual. She came back just to tell me she needed to speak with her manager to authorize a refund. Really? She relayed to me with a shaky voice that I should get an email from her supervisor on my refund status in ne 2 days. Well, guess what, no email, my order still in 'Processing status. I am in process of calling back, AGAIN, to get a simple refund of $63.00 and I am on the usual waiting line which was 345 calls ahead of mine. What is wrong with this origination? Who the hell is managing it or MIS-MANAGING FROM TOP LEVEL MANAGERS DRILLING DOWN TO MID-MANAGEMENT THEN SUPERVISORS? The Customer Service agents only objective I believe is to lie, tell you what you want to hear and get you off the call quickly and repeat due to the god-awful backlog of calls. I will update you all what happened after this call which may happen 6-7 hours from now."
"I purchased two T-shirts in late October I contacted Cavendars two weeks later to see if they’ve been shipped they said one of the purchases was canceled because they were out of stock and if they would ship out the other T-shirt as soon as possible another two weeks had gone by and I contacted them again they said they canceled the other T-shirt because it was out of stock as well they never notified me and they still took the funds out of my account with a garbage company in the garbage website customer service was horrible"
"Ordered boots $190 worth and a shirt for my husband as well. Shirt fit good, boots did not. I paid the return shipping, tracked it, it was delivered to them on 10/28/21 and still have not received my refund as of 11/20/21
I have sat on the phone for hours with this company and I get no where. Do not order from them "
"I was cautious after reading the online reviews, but ordered anyway. Glad I did! Website is easy to use and I received up to date tracking and received my order within a week. I will definitely be ordering again soon!"
"I ordered a sport coat on 11/4. I called them on 11/16 to check the status of the order. the wait time to speak to customer support was 30 minutes. They advised me they cancelled the order because it was no longer in stock. No email or call advising the item was cancelled. "
"I wanted to support someone other than Amazon so I ordered some jeans. First they over charged me, then they charged me a different amount. I got no email, phone call, or any other communication. Apparently they were sending out half the order because they did not have the other jeans. I found this out after 3 phone calls and waiting on hold for over 2 hours. However, the jeans I WAS charged for never showed up. Still. Over a month later. I have requested a refund 3 times over the phone and I was given the run around. Finally I received someone’s email address. She assured me that the case had been forwarded to the refund team and I would see my refund in 3-5 days. 10 days later, no refund. I finally had to call my bank to get the charge reversed. I’ve never received such horrible customer service in my life. Cavenders should be ashamed of themselves. "
"Don't order from Cavender's!! Don't waste your time and money!!! I order a shirt that I need for my son to use on November the 5th , I ordered since October the 3rd and haven't received the shirt but they already deducted the money from my account. I already contacted customer service, which I spend an hour waiting. They told me that FedEx had not gone for my shirt but that they would overnighter it ( that was last Tuesday) up to today I haven't received anything!!! Don't order, don't waste your money and time!! Very disappointed with such big company!!!"

Called multiple times and coincidentally the queue placed me around 70 every time no matter when I called.
The system automatically dumps you into a call back option which never happens.
Interesting business model, make it impossible to contact anyone and do not provide any refunds. Pure profit for Cavenders.
I recommend never doing business with this company, I know I never will again.
Hopefully this message will prevent someone from throwing money away as many on this site have done already.

"Ordered a pair of boots, recevied them in a timely manner. Didn't like them so sent them back along with my exchange request. They received the boots on October 7th. I called the following week to inquire about the process and was told someone would contact me as they were running behind. No call. I've tried calling multiple times since then and cannot get an answer. I've left voicemails and sent an email in regards to this matter- no response. I've got a lot of money **** in a pair of boots that I don't have and of course they don't give refunds so here I sit. Do not recommend ever ordering from this company. Hands down, worst customer service ever!!! "
"I read the reviews after ordering from the Cavender's online orders. I was a bit skeptical after it had already been 2 weeks and still no order received. I called the number provided on line and told them my concerns. I ordered a pair of jeans on October 1st and it is now (at the time) October 15th. I also told her my concerns of reading such poor reviews online in hopes to receive my order. She stated "we just got a new computer system and your order will be shipped" "sorry for the delay". I reluctantly hung up (didn't cancel my order), and decided to wait. Yes my order did come in, and I am quite pleased. It did take an additional week but with the understanding they did in fact have a new computer system, I am very pleased with my jeans! Thank you Cavender's! I will be ordering from you again!"
