"I've shopped at Cycle Gear for a long time. I still use the Frank Thomas boots and jacket purchased eight years ago. (quality stuff) However, the inventory is pretty generic. Being a builder of 70s CB750s I rarely find specific motorcycle stuff when I'm out looking. i.e. fuses, fuel hose, clamps... stuff like that. If you want a jacket or helmet, they have a store full of it ......."
"I always enjoy my trips to Cycle Gear, Austin. The crew always knows what they are talking about and give me tips I can actually use. Of I have a question they always have an answer for me.
The folks behind the counter and the product are genuine and talk to me like I'm a person and not a wallet for the picking. I appreciate that the most."
"Eric Shaulis and his staff are top notch.
They answer every question I had and recommended gear that fits my very needs.
Keep up the good work!

"The salesman was very knowledgeable about the helmet I purchased, Well all helmets really. I will shop here more often in the future "
"I just received my license a couple weeks prior to my visit so i had no idea what i was looking for, and the young lady who helped me out was nothing less than amazing. She explained everything i needed in all the detail i wanted, helped me make informed decisions but didn't pressure me on anything, was there the whole time making sure i had everything i needed and all my questions were answered. This was how ALL customer service experiences should be like. I will go nowhere else for my cycle gear. And i got 15% off for showing that I recently completed the motorcycle safety course!"

"Purchased several items including a tank bag and spray detailer. I returned the tank bag and there was no hassle. The next evening I went to used the new van of spray detailer and the van was dead, no pressure. So another extra hour on my commute to return the spray. Once again, no hassle. Other items purchased on my first visit are great."
"I found exactly what I was looking for and the staff was very helpful in helping me with my final purchase decision. The store was very well organized compared to my prior visits. Nice job, Cycle Gear!"
"Lady behind the counter notist I had the wrong kind of oil mixed in with the other qt. and brought it to my attention saving me a lot of problems. I was very thankfull."
"Fast and friendly service!"
"One of the guys at the store helped me out and he was very friendly and very informative on some items, but not so much on others. I pointed out that the Bilt Adventure style jackets i was looking at all had non removable rain liners that rendered the venting system basically pointless. I mean if there is a rain and wind proof liner (per the web site description) between me and the vent.... well, the effect seams fairly obvious to me, even if it escaped the jacket designer. No wind moving through the jacket. Anyway, he said the "mesh" jacket had a zip out rainproof liner. by this time I had somewhere i needed to be so i simply I tried one on, it fit so i bought it. When i got it home and started to explore it low and behold, non removable rain liner between the shell (vents) and the mesh inner liner. 2 things i learned. The salesmen at Cycle gear don't know every product, even there own store brand. 2, Probably not going to be buying any Bilt items. If something as basic as this gets by the designers I'm scared of what's lurking inside things i can't examine completely. But to the salesman's credit he was VERY informative and helpful in my purchase of a Senna 20S communications system. AND when i returned the jacket it was quick and painless process. Other than having to drive all the way across town that is. But that could have been avoided if I'd taken the time to rudely not trust the salesmen and examine the jacket before purchase. On balance, I'll be back I'm sure, but with a more discriminating eye."
