"Thursday, May 10, I went in to shop for a helmet that would fit my fat head. Had ordered a couple online and returned bc they were too small/shape didn't feel good. I went in to the Cycle Gear store on Beach and was very impressed & surprised with the friendly, thorough service.
I came in right as the store opened and it looked like only 1 employee was working but she couldn't have been better. Greeted me and another customer as we entered, helped me find some hats to try on, then periodically checked on all other customers as they shopped. She got more size options from the back on a couple occasions, climbed up a ladder in store pulling more hats down, and really spent a lot of time helping make sure I got a good fitting helmet. She really knew a lot about all the helmets from quality to shape (oval, round, etc.), features like internal sun shades/buckle-straps, prices off the top of her head even for some CG didn't carry, and I could tell she wanted to make sure I got the right helmet.
This was a very welcome but sadly rare example of superior customer service, deep thorough product knowledge, and tactful attention to the whole store while serving me.
I'll definitely shop here again and will be looking for this super helpful, friendly lady!"

"I went in to get a new helmet. On Feb. 15 , 2018 I went down . I was wearing my Bilt 3/4 black & white w/ flat shield . It saved head & face . But the helmet did crack about 1 1/2 inch. I bought a Bilt 3/4 flat black helmet . This is travel , rain , & fog helmet ."

"In town from Tallahassee and just randomly drove past. Made a U-turn to go tot he shop because I had previously only thought cyclegear was an online-only store. As a new rider, it was comforting when I first stepped in and was greeted by a few employees. I did not know much about jackets, but the staff was very helpful in finding me what I wanted. On top of that, they gave me the impression that they were not working to just make a sale, but helping out a fellow rider find what they needed. Chatting about new gear, helping me figure out the fit, sharing stories, it was great. My only hope is they build a Cycle Gear in Tallahassee, FL! PLEASE!!! "
