"Dbuys.com sent me a GREY MARKET Minolta Dimage 7i camera even though their website says that all products have a full USA warranty. I even called Minolta and verified by serial number that the camera was NOT COVERED by Minolta's warranty. They also did not ship the camera on time, when I called, they said it was backordered, even though I was told on the phone that it was in stock when I ordered it 2 day FedEx. When I said that I would cancel the order, they shipped me the camera the next day.

Talking to them on the phone is a bit annoying.. at one point the guy on the other end told me he had to try to sell me extra stuff after I had told him no, no, no, to everything he was saying. "Researched suppliers for about a week & finally decided on Dbuys.com.
Entered an internet order on Friday morning for an Olympus E20N.
An hour later, a representive called and wanted to sell additional accesories which I declined.
I paid for 2 day air delivery & received the camera on the following Tues. in excellent condition.
I did not receive the tracking number until the day of receipt....which is the only negative of the whole experience.
I would order from these folks again without hesitation."

"I ordered a Sony F707 digital camera from the company, my first order there. Happy with the shipping, I ordered on 4/29, received it today (5/3).
But what unpleasant is it did come with the $49.99 Mack extended warranty in box. When I put the order, the salesman persuaded me to buy an extended warranty, he told me that the warranty he sold was a Sony international
warranty (that means can be used anywhere in the world). But later I figured out it had to be a Mack warranty (that's the only warranty they sell so far), which has a 1-800 number only available in US. Then the salesman agreed to take that off the order.
Since I still received the unwanted warranty today, I called them right away. The automated voice message told me customer service dept was currently closed, their working time is Mon-Fri, 10am-5pm.
It was 3:03pm EST when I called.
By the way, when I put the order, the salesman told me his name was Bob, with a telephone extension #2 I tried today, that extension turned out to be their customer
service's number.
I have sent a complaint through email. I will keep you posted how it goes."

"I placed an online offer to purchase a Sony Video Camera. In the morning I got a call from one of their sales rep, she asked me if I would be intersted to purchase the accessories. When I said no, she said that the battery lasts only twenty minutes and I should also buy tapes becasue without the tapes camera is useless. I told her it's a gift, just the camera is enough. I also mentioned that the person who is going to get this camera can purchase his own tapes. At this point she told me then why am I buying the camera from them and not go somewhere else. Shocked, I asked if I could talk to her supervior. She said she is the manager and she reports to nobody. I called back in a few minutes, requested the operator to transfer me to a supervisor. I don't know who that person was or whether he was a supervisor or not, but he was evasive, not apologetic at all. I cancelled my order in disgust.

"I had a great deal of difficulty in getting them to ship my "in stock" order and they charged my credit card 2 weeks before they shipped my order.
After many calls to them and many promises that they would be shipping my order that day, they agreed to "upgrade" my order to next day air at no additional charge to me.
I still didn't get my order the next day as they shipped it to the wrong state.
I finally received my camcorder more then two weeks after I ordered it.

I never received a tracking code or a ship confirmation from them, even though they stated that would be emailed to me. I am all around very pleased though"
