"I recently made the mistake of ordering a bag from them via the Amazon website. Well I decided to cancel the order because I could get faster shipping through another merchant. Well they told me at first that they could not, even though it wasn't shipped and wouldn't be for a couple of days. I finally got them to cancel the order on Aug 9 but they did not contact Amazon to tell them it was canceled. So my money ($50.80) is still being held hostage by this authorization which still has not fallen off and today is Aug 15. After speaking with 4 different customer service reps and 1 supervisor the authorization is still pending. My CC company advised me to have one of the eBags supervisors call so they can have them manually take off authorization which to this date hasn't been done so far. This is simply terrible customer service and as a result I could not reorder the bag from another merchant because of this. So if you order an item through them just pray nothing goes wrong and you need customer service because THEY HAVE SOME OF THE CRAPPIEST INCOMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS!!!!"

"Well, I ordered a bag and received it within the promised time frame. However, a shoulder bag is not a shoulder bag without the strap. They said they would send me the strap, but then a few days later said they didn't have the strap at the warehouse. I was told to return the bag. After all the back and forth they offered a 25% discount for a replacement. I contacted the bag manufacturer to inform them that ebags.com is bad for their business. I will never order from them again."

"Be careful shopping with ebags. Their shipping process is terrible and lacks prompt deliveries. If you plan on using shoprunner, don't plan on them actually shipping two day. They will instead ship it ground from one end of the country to another so it takes 5 days rather than the ordered 2day shipping just to save money. Very false advertising and sounds more like a bait and switch. To make matters worse I havent even described the handling process time which is often lackluster as well. If you order on monday don't expect it to ship out until wednesday. So in all dont expect to recieve items on the date noted in their invoice. Mine will arrive 3 business days after the date noted in my order status invoice. "

"Great products; I received my luggage last week; and earned $8 on their rewards program; and I received an email for additional discount; all of this designed for return bussiness. However, after receiving my order, I wanted to buy more; but YOU CANNOT USE YOUR REWARDS FOR 1 MONTH. Here's a program to intise return business; but you cannot return and use the incentive for 1 month. Are you serious;... CAN YOU SAY COMPETITOR!!!!!!! This rule is in place so you will not return your original purchase, after you receive your the second discounted purchase. WHY WOULD YOU BE BUYING MORE, IF YOU WOULD BE RETURNING YOUR ORIGINAL PURCHASE!!!! You would pay 15-20 bucks to return your merchandise to save 8 bucks???? REALLY SMART BUISNESS MENTALITY!!!!!!

Found this same luggage at WAYFAIR for $35.00 cheaper; FREE SHIPPING. Give it a try. Nice Rewards program you got there. IDIOTS!!!! BE WARE, Policies are rediculous, NOT GOOD TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!!!!!

"I had no problems with ebags. Both backpacks arrived to my house by fedex LESS THAN a week after I ordered them. 4 days to be exact. I also got to track on ebags site of my order and then they emailed the fedex tracking number too one it became available. Both bags were exactly what I ordered and am extremely happy with the price and fast shipping. Will buy again :)"

"I ordered a backpack from ebags thru Amazon on a Saturday and choose expedited shipping ($32!).
Monday I sent an email asking if the backpack would be shipped soon and received an email back stating that all orders took an additional 3 days processing time!
I checked Amazons ordering page and there was no mention of this.
I emailed them back and they said the bag SHOULD be there by Friday.
I checked everyday and the status always said not yet shipped.
This continued all the way thru thursday.
I called Amazon and they said the bag had not been shipped and that I should cancel my order which I did.
I went to a local luggage shop and purchased a similar backpack because I was leaving on a trip the following Monday and when I got home guess what was there? MY BACK PACK!
I contacted Amazon and asked why the status still showed not yet shipped?
Amazon said because ebags never bothered to update the status.
Also ebags never sent me a tracking number.
For $32 in expedited shipping charges I expected at least a tracking number??!
I contacted ebags to let them know of my displeasure about this situation and they basically told me that you got your bag so thats it go away.
Ok l DID get my bag and lesson learned no more ebags for me.
I guess this is why ebags has such a terrible ratting!

"I bought an Alienware M18x Orion bag from Ebags, because it was marginally cheaper than the Amazon price, and I needed the bag in 3-5 business days and didn't want to risk it with the free super saver shipping from Amazon, as I was travelling to Florida and needed the bag to carry my G74SX. This was biggest mistake I could have made.

Ebags sent "the" bag and it arrived on the Friday before my Saturday departure, just liked I had planned, however it was not in fact the bag at all - instead of the Alienware M18X Orion Laptop Backpack I had ordered, I received an M17X Orion Messenger Bag, not only was the size not the same as ordered, the bag was completely wrong. This severely annoyed me, and then when I tried to contact the company their response was "just send the bag back, it might arrived here in 7-10 days and then we will look at refunding your card"... is that it?!! Is that what you consider customer service.

I have now had to re-order the bag through Amazon, and hope that this completely useless company considers giving my money back in close to a fortnight's time.

Complete disgrace to be honest.

"Ebags.com sent me a bag that was covered in BLACK MOLD. This posed a health threat to my family. I immediately returned the bag to ebags.com, and they didn't even have the courtesy to refund my money.

I contacted customer service twice. For wasting my time and for endangering my family with potentially hazardous BLACK MOLD, the best the could do for me was to offer me a refund... but they haven't even done that.

I would do business with this company ever again.

"I have always been happy with eBags until recently. I made a purchase which I returned to them. I received an email confirming they had processed my return on 1/4/12 and that I should receive a credit shortly. When I inquired 5 days ago where my credit was, I was told someone would contact me within 2-3 business days. I have heard nothing. I posted on their Facebook page about my problem. They promptly removed it even though there was nothing offensive about it. So, I guess unless you say something nice on their Facebook page, they'll remove it. I now have to dispute this charge with my credit card company andx will not be doing business with eBags in the future. "

"The item would have been great if that was what I ordered. I received the wrong print.

When I contacted ebags with the mistake, they assured me that they were in stock and would get the correct item to me. I was asked to wait at least 24 hours for my "account to go through processing".

I waited 36 hours, then contacted ebags to switch for the correct purse. I was then told that they were out of stock on the purse that I wanted.!!??

I sent a very unhappy email back to customer service. I was told "sorry for the inconvenience and please return the bag in question. Here's a 20% discount" for the next time I shop ebags. That coupon will not be redeemed.

After reading some reviews, I kept the bag. I'll give it to another daughter on another gift occasion.

"For me I would not buy from Ebags because they posted a really low price on a handbag but said it was out of stock I tried for 5 or 6 weeks to buy it I even contacted them a few times asking when it would be back instock I kept waiting and waiting because the price was so low! Then when they got it "back in stock" the price was way higher! Other people have said the same thing! I will not but from them there are plenty of websites out there that don't do that! Shop around and read reviews!"

"My wife wanted a purse for her birthday and chose a few for me to choose from. I purchased the purse, and then she decided she wanted a different one from a local store. We requested a return, shipped the purse to them, and their website says the return was credited.

After about 2 weeks I did not receive the credit. I called them and they claimed they sent me a gift card instead. I didn't request a gift card and don't know why they wouldn't just credit my credit card. Further, I didn't even receive a gift card. Now my case has been "escalated" to a "specialist". I will wait for an e-mail back and dispute the purchase with my credit card company if they don't give a refund.

A big hassle for something that was easy to resolve.

"I was a bit wary buying from ebags after reading the reviews here but I had a very good experience with them. I ordered a laptop bag from them because their price was 25% off every other seller I could find. It was a brand new product and nobody else had a sale price on it. The first one I receved had a material defect to the lining of the laptop compartment. I called them at 6PM Eastern time and got right through to a person who shipped a replacement and emailed me a return label. The replacement Arrived 4 days later. It was a very easy process. "
