"Just have to say their return service is extremely poor and somewhat dishonest. Happened to return my purchases to eBags. First, request my return via eBags.com and it said to wait for certain time to received my return label, so I wait, wait, and wait.. eventually I have to call their Rep to request for return and they don't have any record of my return request?!? Luckily, I have my return label after the call. I did the returns, but they only credited me 1 of the 3 items returned, which doesn't make sense because I packed everything in the same box. I called their Rep. and the Rep seems to know it right away about being received ALL my Return items. Just curious: they just forget... short of staff... or scam?!? After all they still refund my money! just wander why I have to keep checking on them to get my return fix, instead of having me return worry-free as a happy customer!?! Ps: I still purchase bag from them; I have to say the Free Shipping & Return is tempting especially online purchase; BUT THEY REALLY HAVE TO WORK ON THEY RETURN!!!"

Subsequently found it cheaper at another site which was also running a holiday special requiring a coupon code. They will not price match due to my using a "coupon code" to obtain the price. "I received the item I ordered and it was as advertised, and as I expected. That part was great. I was pretty disappointed with the shipping. I order A LOT of things online and now a days, my item tends to ship within a day or 2 at most. eBags took 4 days to process and ship my item. That's not awful but I guess I've just become accustomed to faster shipping, especially when you choose expedited shipping (which I did this time). What cracked me up is there is a notice when you first make the purchase that they process and ship things so quickly that it's impossible to cancel your order once you place it. What a crock. "I bought a Firewall laptop briefcase from eBags around 6 years ago. As I remember it, the price was very good, the ordering process was easy, and the bag was delivered very quickly. At the time, I laughed at their lifetime warranty on eBags branded products, and hoped I'd never need to test it (given all the loopholes that lifetime warranties typically had).
Yesterday, I broke a zipper on the case, and called customer service this afternoon. Within 2 minutes, their customer service rep had taken me through the process, and said that a new replacement bag would be delivered within a week.
I'm sorry that others have had problems with this retailer. My experience was obviously different (so different that I was really surprised at all the negative reviews )."

"What a terrible company to deal with. I received an item that was DOA, and have made 6 different phone calls in an effort to get the item replaced. No luck. All I get are excuses like "our warehouse must have screwed up" or "our fulfillment partner is still looking into that." eBags has made no efforts to get the problem handled. "Two orders placed. I wished to cancel one. Company furnished wrong contact email. Voice followup, they promised to cancel the wrong order. But 8 hours later my Paypal was charged, and 48 hours later, a Fedex shipping confirmation was received. It appears they screwed up the other half of the order too (based on weight), so I had Fedex return all the boxes to Ebags. Now I have to follow up with my credit card company and Paypal to get back my $560.
This company has numerous irregularities reported via resellerratings, and it appears to be more than just a casual error or two. I would advise not dealing with them until they've straightened out their back office."

I got an e-mail asking me to write a review of their product for an EXTRA 20% off my next order. Was about to place another order and remembered this so took some time to write a review...only to find out, the coupon doesn't work because what I ordered had a discount already. There is no "extra" 20 percent off; they won't honor the coupon after they have your product review! No wonder they get so many people to review their products - they suck them in with a false offer. When you shop at any retail store that offers a coupon for an "extra" percentage off, they don't tell you when you purchase an item that they first have to raise the price back up, do they? What a lousy system and their customer service doesn't even attempt to help. Oh, but they do admit they run specials every week - so basically the "extra 20 percent off" will never work. "
"UPDATE: I spoke to a couple customer service reps at eBags. One at the Denver location, Michaela, agreed to make a one-time exception. I'm a much happier customer now.

I purchased a $200 bag on eBags and within a two months, the plastic/rubber edges on the handles had started to crack and within three months, the leather had ripped with it. I contacted eBags to exchange it, but I also received a canned response saying I passed the 60 day mark for returns and there was nothing they could do.
I did a little research and I'm not the only one who's furious with the quality of the purse.

Not only did eBags have the gall to carry an item at such a high price with such low-quality and a non-existent "warranty", but they refused to ameliorate my reasonable request for a replacement bag--I even told them I'd be willing to pay the difference, just as long as it wasn't a damn B. "DO NOT shop with these incompetent people at all! They screwed up my order big time. I ordered the Rafe Karolina Clutch in Blue and was very excited to receive it. They sent me a much larger, different version of this style. I contacted them by phone twice and was told twice that they would be sending out the correct bag. When nothing arrived, I called again, only to be told the two previous people I spoke with were wrong...they cannot process exchanges if you order through them on amazon.com and that I would have to do a return. Original post: Be careful buying from eBags.com. They claim to have a price match guarantee. It says, "If you have found a lower price on our site or a competitor's site within 10 days of your order. . . we will refund you 100% of the difference between the eBags.com price (less any promotional discounts or coupons and excluding shipping and tax) and the competitor's price." I submitted my claim and received a response from them stating that it did not apply to the brand that I purchased. Nowhere in their terms and conditions do they have any exclusions regarding brands. If you are thinking that you are "guaranteed" the lowest price from eBags, THINK AGAIN!!"
