I just found out why so cheap. eBags uses the basic UPS service, NO DELIVWEY VEIFICATION. This allows UPS to leave the package at the front door with no signature or delivery verification.
After a 3:19 PM delivery in South Florida, the box was ripped opened and the contents (two backpacks for my granddaughters) dumped out and all of the paperwork with my name address, email address, and credit information was stolen, It is very negligent to NOT inform the customer that the merchaqndise is NOT being sent with signature required. We DO NOT mind paying more for shipping to avoid identity theft."

I ordered close to the christmas holidays so was a slightly worried I wouldn't get my gift on time but it was delivered 4 days after I placed the order. "I hate ebags. I ordered two items from them for an upcoming trip. I placed the order 2 weeks before my departure date. One week passed before they even shipped the first item, and the other one is still sitting in their warehouse. The major problem with all this is that by the time the items get here, I'll already be gone on my trip!
Adding insult to injury, I've received the most innane, unsympathetic responses from their customer service reps. They don't even read the emails you send them, they just send you a generic response. I'm furious with this company and I just want to warn everyone NOT to buy anything from them! Please shop elsewhere!!!"
"Best price I could find on the Case Logic notebook case I was looking for, 10% off and free shipping helped. It was shipped directly from Case Logic in CO. BEWARE though. They try to slip in a magazine subscription during checkout. How do they get away with this? Is this legal?

"Ordered two 180cm ski bags since it's one of the few places around that carry them. Order was processed fast and I received the box in two or three days even though I paid for the chipes shipping. That was good until I open the box. Inside were two 165 cm bags. So, I mailed customer service. They answered surprisingly quickly (same day) and were helpful enough. So, I submited the order for the return and got the e-mail saying I'll receive UPS return shipping lable withing the week. Then, I reordered the same staff. Again, it was quickly processed and shipped. Gues what was inside? Yes, pair of freaking 165cm bags again. So, I talked with customer service again and submited my second order for the ruturn also. So, now I have 4 bags I didn't order and 100 backs out of my pocket. And I still waiting for the UPS lables. After all, that's somewhat wierd. Good customer service but stupid stock workers. Also, I don't understand why it takes so long to send me that UPS labels.
Update:
In couple days they sent me third box via 2-day UPS. I didn't order, but they decided to send it. Anyway, in the box as usual was not the 180cm, but 203cm bags. It's not what I ordered but at least they fit my skis. In couple more days I finally got UPS labels and sent 4 bags back. They wrote that they will reemburse me for half of each of two orders (it's one order in total).
Summary:
1) I'v got not exactly what I paid for.
2) It took more then two weeks to do that."
"I ordered a set of bags from them on 17th. They shipped through UPS and UPS said they will deliver on 26th. On 26th UPS said they cant deliver because the package doesnt have an apartment number listed on there. I checked my ebags invoice to see if I forgot to specify the apartment number. Buy to my surprise the billing and the shipping address had the apartment number listed very clearly. I called up customer service and she tracks the UPS tracking and says that there is no apartment number specified on the package. And after a minute she herself says that you live in so and so apartment number right? I mean how dumb you can be. You can see the apartment number in the invoice and you dont put that on the shipping label? It was my first and probably the last purchase from eBags. I have purchased quite a few things from online stores and no one ever has made such a careless mistake."
