"I have ordered 2 manufacture-replacement camera batteries, cell phone batteries, and generic AA and AAA NiMh batteries from ebatts. I always receive exactly what i ordered in a very short time. My last order was made a day before a camera order from a different vendor, and the battery arrived the day the camera shipped. I used free ups ground. The battery quality has always been = to or better than the OEM battery"
"Great seller, no problem. I wanted to buy an auto/air adapter for my laptop but it was out of stock so I clicked on their link to be emailed when item was in stock. About 3 to 4 days later I got email saying item was now in stock along with a 10% off coupon code, for the wait I guess. I was happy with the quick restocking of my item I had a hard time finding in the first place. The 10% off was a bonus.
Would by from ebatts again. I noticed ebatts has kind of a bad rep a resellerratings.com but if you check bizrate.com they have a very good rep with thousands of reviews.
You should always check resellerratings.com and bizrate.com when find any store's rating for a more complete review. I would not have bought from ebatts if I didn't check both sites."
"BUYER BEWARE!!!!
You'll need some vaseline before dealing with these false-advertising (bleep-bleep)ers.
I wish that I'd read the store's reviews before buying from them.
I had ordered my Nikon D-200, and wanted to have a couple of spare batteries ready for it, so I placed an order for the "En-el3e equivalent" batteries (they differ somewhat from the earlier Nikon D-slr battery) that Ebatts.com had advertised on their site.
My camera was backordered, so by the time I got it and found out that the batteries wouldn't fit in the battery compartment, and that they didn't have the three contacts they were supposed to have, but only two, it was past the return date.
I e-mailed them several times before they finally replied, and asked me to call them instead.
When I called, I told them that the batteries had been misrepresented as replacements for MY SPECIFIC BATTERY MODEL NUMBER, and demanded my money back, plus original and return shipping, as I should well expect, given the fact that the batteries were falsely advertised.
They then went on to explain to me that the site I had gone to was a "partner site" of theirs, even though it said "ebatts.com" and it was them that I had ordered from and paid my money to.
I asked about the 1 year warranty for faulty items, since obviously it was advertised as working for my camera, and wouldn't even fit in the battery compartment and had the wrong number of contacts. I was told that it was not a faulty battery, but simply made for a different camera and it wasn't their fault that their "partner site" had made a mistake in advertising it.
They ended up offering to refund HALF of my original purchase price (out of the goodness of their hearts!), CONTINGENT ON my buying two of their new, correct replacements, and paying the return shipping of the faulty batteries.
I figured it was better than nothing, and since I was sure to have the 30 days to try them this time, I went ahead and said ok, and bent over and took it like a man.
The new batteries DO work, but the agony of dealing with shady salespeople who FALSELY ADVERTISE their products and end up costing me more than if I'd bought the Nikon brand batteries to begin with, leaves me very "sore". Like I said, get some vaseline, or maybe even invest a more rectally-specific lube when dealing with ebatts.
Oh, by the way, I returned the faulty batteries about 20 days ago, and still haven't seen the HALF REFUND that I was promised. I suspect that they'll wait as long as they can to refund the HALF of the money I spent (The other half I threw away.)"
"The address of ebatts is the same as duracell direct although they claim they are not one in the same. I ordered a replacement camcorder battery from ebatts on the 12th. It didn't get shipped until the 20th and is not expected to arrive until the 26th. So much for having a battery for recording Christmas activities. At no time was I contacted warning me of the delay. Of course their website only posts glowing reviews and mine my review of their lackluster service would not see the light of day."
"Best price on the web for CMOS battery for my old Compaq Presario 9660! Only $15.95 shipped. You can order on-line or by phone. Got an e-mail confirmation of the order. Also got a 1 year warranty. No other site does this for this old battery. This is new, not refurbished. Some on the web cost $46 refurbished. Come on people. Make sure you do some research. Get the OEM part number and do a search. Ebatts will match your part number with thier part number if they have it. I can't speak for other ratings here, but I suspect thousands of satisfied customers don't post. Just my 2 cents. Great purchase and shipping experience for me."
"This order was a replacement for a Powerbook G4 battery. Arrived within 2 days, and the battery life exceeds the original Apple battery life!
As the entire "IT department" of a 50 employee small business, I rely on eBatts to provide us with the best batteries and power supplies for our fleet of Macs. I'm consistently impressed with the quality (and longevity) of their products, and the cost is much lower than the nearly identical straight-from-Apple items."
"I ordered a replacement battery for my Northwestern Bell cordless phone from ebatts.com. They had a battery that exactly matched the model number on my battery and their website indicated their battery was identical to the original. When the product came I tried to use the battery but it was about a quarter inch too big for the phone! I contacted customer service at ebatts. They told me to ship back my improper battery and they would refund me. In spite of their not even SUGGESTING that I made any error, they would not cover my shipping. They said that this was the battery they had for that model number. They were rude, curt, and inefficient. I've since successfully ordered the same model number of battery and got the correct one delivered from VoltDepot.com without incident. I will never shop ebatts again."
"Ordered a scanner battery from them for my role as a volunteer fireman. After two and a half weeks with no delivery after shipping notice, emailed them for info. Absolutely no return communication from them. Apparently, after they get your money, you are no longer a valued customer. Be careful ordering from this obviously shady retailer."
"Ordered cellphone battery. Best price, free shipping, & arrived quickly. I'm very satisfied."
"I ordered a replacement battery for my Sony Vaio from ebatts.com. The order process was easy enough. The product came about 7 days later. I tried to use the battery, it was DOA. I contacted customer service at ebatts. They told me they would ship another battery and charge my CC. I asked them to send me a call tag for the DOA battery they said they don’t do that. They said I had to spend seven bucks to ship back their battery that was defective out of the box. What type of customer service is that? Most reputable companies will send you a UPS call tag to ship an item back if it is DOA. I can understand not picking up the return freight if the product worked out of the box then failed sometime later. I will never shop ebatts again."
"Didn't complete purchase. I responded to a great offer, they made bogus excuses and blackisted my email so that I couldn't even respond.
Buyer beware."
"I've been searching for an auto/air adapter for my XPS Gen 2, I found one here and ordered it. I am a bit worried about the company based on its ratings here, but given that they are the only source I've found, it's worth the risk. The order processing has been easy and talking with customer service to see if the item was going to ship the day after I ordered it. I talked with Angela who was quite excellent. If it works I'll be even happier."
"Do not order from these morons. Don't believe the garbage about customer service. They don't abide by their own policies. They sent me the wrong battery, because wrong one was listed on their website. I called cust. service. They accused me of ordering the wrong one & to go online for return. I should not have had to pay return shipping. I informed them about the wrong battery listed on their website & now, thanks to me, have the correct one listed. I performed better service for them than they performed for me. I was courtious & they were not.

"About 5 weeks ago, just in time to take it with on a vacation, I got a replacement battery for my Sony laptop from a place called ebatts.com and immediately after starting the computer it went dead. I had an extended warranty so when I got back from vacation I sent it into the shop for repair. It took about 3 weeks to get it back and I was told that a power source caused the problem, probably the battery they say. The store was nice enough to replace the laptop but ebatts.com refused to take the battery back because I was a week past the 30 day return policy. They also refused to even exchange it under the batterys 1 year warranty because I could not ship them the damaged laptop to test it (the store has it). The only reason I was one week late was because the laptop was in the shop and I even offered to show them the paperwork. That is the last time I buy any kind of battery online."
"Battery arrived promptly; easy ordering; no problems"
