"I have ordered many products from SuperBiiz and I have never been disappointed with anything they have sold me.

SuperBiiz has the best prices on most computer products especially if you catch the free shipping, and they are fast when it comes to processing your orders.

There is even a place for customers to rate products and voice their opinions on it directly on the page of the product you're looking for.

If you're looking to upgrade your machine or even build one I'd go with SuperBiiz first!

Previous review:

On 1/26/10, I ordered a barebones ECS MD120 dual-core Atom Ion net-top for my living room. In mid-Feb the HDMI output started to flicker then died completely a day later. The other video outputs (VGA and DVI) still worked, so I was hesitant to return it but I decided to do so rather than keep a partially broken unit.

I received an RMA number 48 hours after my request, and I removed my user-installed components (DRAM, HDD) and shipped the unit FedEx Ground at my expense back to eWiz for replacement as defective.

There my troubles began.

On 3/1 I was informed that the package was received, but that they would not ship me a replacement unit until I also returned them the complete accessory packet, including the user manual, power brick, driver CD, and A BAG OF 4 SCREWS.

I have no idea why they needed the bag of four screws back to repair or replace my computer, but my representative Angela insisted that they could not ship me a replacement unit without them. I asked if they would cross-ship, since they already had the entire barebones system and were just awaiting the accessories. She said NO, that was against their policy.

She did email: "If you can send these items back we can ship you a brand new item from our warehouse." I was also told that "Once the technician receives your package she will send you a new one. I have already notified her that you’re sending it out today and we will be expecting it."

I scoured my house looking for the bag of screws and luckily found it. I included it and the other accessories in a shipment back to eWiz/SuperBiiz on March 2nd and it was delivered March 4th. I heard nothing back from eWiz on March 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8th.

The delay in processing my RMA was already 1 week and counting, and I'd been without a working computer for about two weeks with more time to come waiting for return shipping.

On March 9th, I called eWiz and spoke to the RMA department, who told me they were waiting for word from their technician that the package was received and complete, and that they have more news soon.

On March 10th, I called again and got no further information by phone. However I received a whopper of an email later that day: I was informed that all the materials were received, but that they were unable to test the HDMI at their facility and had to return it to the manufacturer for testing. AND FURTHERMORE, THAT THEY COULD NOT SHIP A REPLACEMENT UNTIL SUCH TESTING WAS COMPLETE! They couldn't even give me a firm date when MFG testing would be completed!

First of all, I was asking for a replacement and not a refund, and the accessories were hardly necessary to test the HDMI output, so they could have sent it to the MFG back on 3/1, rather than 3/10.

Second, Angela in the RMA dept had assured me that they would ship me a replacement as soon as they had received the accessory package, so I felt they had an obligation to fulfill their promise. Seems like customer service 101 to me.

When they refused to ship me a working item on 3/10, I asked to speak with the customer service manager. They told me he or she was "too busy" to speak to me then, but that he/she would call me back later that day. I did receive a call, but only to say that the customer service manager was still "too busy" to speak with me (egad, a customer who wants to speak to the customer service manager!) and would call me the next day.

Well, it's the next day and no call yet from the customer service manager.

Update 3:00pm 3/11: I called eWiz while composing this review. I was put in touch with "Wendy" a customer service agent (I don't think she's the manager I'd been trying to reach). She reiterated the company policy and told me I would have to wait. She said that "Hopefully we'll have word regarding the results from the MFG by 3/16".

Obviously this sliding date is unacceptable to me. With what's happened so far, who knows what date they'll come up with on the 16th? I asked again for an immediate replacement or refund.

I was refused yet again, and thus I am completing this review. Hopefully my cautionary tale will help those who read it.

Wish me luck, because the next step if things aren't resolved to my satisfaction soon is dealing with my credit card company to refuse the charge.

"JUST WOW! I mean WOW! First I was skeptic about the site. I never heard of it and the site kind of looks unreliable. Whatever! I took a chance and bought a AMD PHENOM II X4 955. I got it for $160 shipped! Got to avoid the CA sales tax because of the discount they gave me. Here is the most interesting thing. I placed the order around 6pm on a Friday. I got in on MONDAY! That was their standard shipping. However I do live 30mins away from them. I will probably come back and order here again due to fast shipping. They are based in the bay area. "

"Extraordinary service! I've ordered many times before for various builds, and this time I needed a specific large but low density SO-DIMM (1GB, 64Mx16x8bit). Only ewiz.com posts these kind of specs on their site. And only ewiz.com will actually provide email and telephone tech help in making sure it was the right module. And in stock and cheap. All for a $22 order. Looking forward to many future orders with them."

"I have gotten nothing but the runaround in dealing with this Co. I ordered a VGA cooler from them, upon receving it I found it to be DOA I sent it back ( RMA# Z27950 ) requesting a replacement, 2 weeks later they said they would test it. After another week went by I called them and nothing had been done, so I requested a refund at that time ( I was tired of trying to deal with them ) 5 days later I called again and was told it had to go back to the manufacturer before I could recieve my refund (This is a bunch of cr--) I was told to check back in 2 more weeks. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS Co. I have ordered hundreds of part from various Co.s and never had this treatment. I will never buy from them again !!!!!!They recieved my RMA on Feb.17 and I still dont have anything in return.


I am editing my review, SuperBiiz contacted me by phone and was able to resolve the issue with my RMA. I'm very pleased at the quick response.
