It turns out that LXtronics is actually Electotronics in another name, so I must say that I was apprehensive as I had already ordered from this company and read all these terrible reviews.

"Had I read the reviews before i purchased, I would have never purchased or atleast had it sent OVERNight rather than ground. I have proof with emails that they said it would be mailed on a particular day but was not send until later. I was told it was 2-3 day shipping FED EX but it is UPS Ground(7days). They keep telling me that they have been closed for all these holidays? I want to work there becaused that company is never open. They told me that they have been overloaded with orders. Well DUH, they only work 2-3 days per week so yes they are a bit overloaded?????
I am very displeased as I need the product for the weekend and will not get it. I could have order it and shipped it overnight and had it by today had I not been lied to when I was supposed to be shipped!"
"July 11 2008 - Friends and I went in on an order from electr0tronics for: 4 Eneloop Battery chargers each w/4 AA recgargeable batteries - and - two 4-pack AA rechargeables. With shipping the cost was #110.19. I paid this through Paypal.
All the items were advertised "in stock". When I received the order a week or so later, only the two 4-packs were in the shipment. No mention either at the time of ordering or with the shipment itself that there was an error on the site, items were not in stock, or that items were back-ordered and when i might expect them. Nothing.
I wrote to elect0tronics immediately, describing what had happened. No response. On their site they claim to respond to enquiries etc within 2-24 hours. I waited two days. no response.
I contacted Paypal and registered a Paypay dispute. Once this was initiated I very quickly received a response from elect0tronics.
No mention was made of the misleading info on their site or that they neglected to enclose a note of explanation with the shipment of the two items.
Elect0tronics requested I please not initiate a "payback" (the next step after an unsatisfactory "dispute" claim is put up) and that they would ship the missing items as soon as they were received from their sources. etc.
To make a very long and tedious story short - electrotronics has not come forth with the missing (and paid for) items. The last correspondence i had from them was that they were willing to refund my money, or part refund if i want to keep the items i actually recieved.
If i do not get satisfaction from them i will go the next step with Paypal and raise the "dispute" to a "payback".
In summary - DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. They are not to be trusted. If they send you reassuring words, do not believe them.

Strike one:20% restocking fee...even if they sent you a product that lacks parts
that were pictured on the website order page...Arkon sf-150a fm transmitter lacked
a usb power adapter cable in shipping box...false/deceptive advertising.
Strike two:Invoice inside shipping box showed/listed no order total in $/dollar amount...lazy/deceptive.
Strike three:For shipping charged me a Fedex
rate of about $14.50...but they sent it USPS at
about $8.00-9.00...so on shipping they made an
extra $4.00-5.00 on me and did not list anything
in $$$ amounts on the invoice...that's fishy...if they pull that shipping/scam with every customer...that sounds illegal...multiply $5.00
xs 10,000 dupped/customers...that's $50,000.00
in stolen/shipping money!
Strike four:Invoice was smashed into shipping box...just short of being a paper wade.

box...will I order from electotronics.com again?...no...especially with 20% restocking fee.

"I ordered from this site on Sunday. The automated email I received gave me an order # that apparently doesn't work. Their site has no contact info that is relevant. In my paypal account, the phone number listed for them is someone's cell phone. The reviews they have listed on their site seem fake. They all praise the "great communication" but this site is very slow to communicate. Also, the names are suspicious. I mean, "Charles Brown" and "Carie Fisher"... hmmm...."
"I ordered a $5 part and saw, before I place the order, that shipping was going to be almost $9. I wasn't happy with that but I was willing to pay it since the part was so cheap. What I didn't notice until after I placed the order was that they added an ADDITIONAL $4.50 for handling. This was not just deceiving but bordering on fraudulent! Notified them via email 4 times and have received responses twice saying that it was there error and that they will ship them. I did finally receive all the items I ordered but the last two came one month late. They had the cheapest price and they did eventually live up to their obligation."
