When the package arrived, it was a completely different remote control. A Chinese knock off. The site does not respond to request for return or replacement."

"I submitted a return request on an unused remote control I purchased on April 7th, 2022 and as of today April 25th, 2022 ... no one has emailed me or called me in regards to my return request. I even put in a second return request and a tech support request on April 11th, 2022 ... still didn't receive a response. I submitted a return request because I upgraded to a Control 4 system. "I ordered a specific remote and was sent a generic knock off. The remote that was sent operated about 30% of the functions on my device. Tech support was useless, basically telling me to read the manual of the original remote (which is way different than what was sent. They refused my demand for a refund based on waiting a few months to actually check the thing out. STAY AWAY!"

Ordered a $20 or $30 new bulb online and now the remote from Electronic Adventure and the tv and remote are up and working like new."
"Like most customers have already reported, the ol' bait and switch. Ordered a remote from their website for an old receiver which included the pic of my exact remote and the model of my remote. Nowhere on the page do they say anything about being a compatible remote, yet the remote I received was NOT as listed. Completely different model. I will say though, thus far, it seems to be compatible with my remote I'm replacing. But the issue still stands, completely misleading the customer with not listing what they are buying. I could have bought this remote elsewhere for half price when you also include the shipping costs (where I could have ordered this remote through someone else with free shipping). "
"I ordered a replacement remote for my RCA TV/DVD Combo. Electronic Adventure sent the same remote I received from Dan's Electronics. I inserted brand new batteries into both remotes, however, neither worked on my RCA TV or it's built-in DVD.
Dan's Electronic sent a prepaid return shipping label and refunded the purchase price as well as the original shipping.
Electronic Adventure insisted their remotes work and refused to send a prepaid shipping label or refund the original shipping charges.
At least Dan's Electronics backs their products and provides much better customer service. I do NOT recommend anyone make purchases from Electronic Adventure."

To add insult to injury, they only credited me half of what they charged me. What a scam."
