Spoiled Christmas!!!

"Order for a Weber Summit S-420 propane stainless grill was placed on 12-11-17 with Amazon. Shipment was to be made by 12-29-17 through evVive. After due date I made contact to check status. EvVive informed out of stock but coming. Order could not be completed out of stock. Today is 1-7-18 and still no word related to fulfillment of this order. Out of curious I read reviews on evVive that Amazon chose as a supplier for this product. I saw that poor ratings go years back. Many reviews experienced my same situation. I am going to cancel my order before this situation gets financially worse. I feel this waste of time not to mention spoiling my Christmas could have been avoided. "

"CONTRACTORS BEWARE! Avoid avoid them as a reseller on Amazon! They resell under several names since I placed the order on Amazon under Build.com, and had to cancel the order and the name came up as EvVive.com. But all phone communication has been with Designer Appliances out of NJ. They listed a range hood on Amazon and it showed "in stock" three days ago - so I ordered it. Only to be called hours later and told it is not in stock and it would take 7-10 business days to get to them from Broan and then 7-10 business days to get it to me. So to them, on Amazon, "in stock" may mean up to 20 business days or A MONTH? I ordered this for a client because it was what she wanted and it was listed IN STOCK. I had to call to follow up with Designer Appliances and spoke to Linetta from Designer Appliances. After giving me the run around for over 24 hours [another lost day for my client's project] she told me there was nothing she could do. I told her that the Amazon listing is FALSE advertising and as if this moment 3 days after they knew the did not have this hood - IT IS STILL LISTED as in stock. Shame on this company and their management. Like I said, maybe good in person but ZERO concern for online purchases. Get off Amazon if you don't care about your customers or contractors. AVOID THEM!"

E-Vive sent us a refrigerator instead of the range we ordered- two-month-long hassle-awful experience

"Awful experience--unacceptable shipping and poor customer service

I think we received a customer who recently reviewed's refrigerator--it was a Marvel. It has been returned to E-Vive. They would most likely lie about this though. We took perfect care of it while waiting weeks for Pilot to pick it up. Here's what happened to us...

Since we never received this range due to multiple delivery errors, I am reporting what happened to my family for future customers to avoid the two-months-long and time-consuming hassle we experienced. Between E-Vive, the delivery company, Pilot, and Amazon, the confusion, loss of over $1000 for over a month, and a lack of information between all the seller parties, I cannot ever purchase a large or expensive item online. E-Vive's delivery company, Pilot, literally "dropped" a 200 pound refrigerator near our mailbox with no notice. Our mailbox is not in view of our home. The delivery was not signed for. Thinking the box held the range we ordered, we hired movers to bring it inside. When opened, the box held a refrigerator. Pilot could not explain what happened; E-Vive could not explain what happened, and neither was at all helpful in coordinating the pickup of the refrigerator. I spent over an hour a day for three weeks coordinating a pickup. In frustration, I cancelled the range order only to be told by E-Vive that we would not receive a refund until they received the refrigerator. It was literally a nightmare getting Pilot to get the refrigerator out of our home and back to the company. A future buyer of this model Blomberg range may receive a range that was in a delivery truck for weeks--or worse, in an unknown home due to a delivery error. What happened to the range we ordered and never received was not explained to us at any point throughout weeks of unsuccessful communications.

"Fraud Alert! Ordered a Marvel Kegerator that was supposed to include "all necessary tapping equipment" $500 worth but never received. Amazon offered 30% refund then withdrew the offer. Evive passed the buck to Marvel who refuses to acknowledge responsibility. Repeated emails to all have not provided response leaving me to purchase items elsewhere! Now referred to fraud division of attorney general. Buy at your own risk!!!"

"I cannot even begin to tell you how awful this company is to deal with! Buyer beware stay away from them, they are crooks! I purchased a dryer that was the wrong one, and when I tried to return it they said they would not accept it because it wasn't in its original box! After at least four weeks of arguing with them explaining over and over that their freight company that delivered it delivered it without a box at my driveway, they finally said they would make an exception and take it back. Only problem is they wanted me to now pay $525 on a $1000 dryer to let me return it! They said I had to pay for the shipping back which I had no problem with, but then they were charging me for when they shipped it to my house! And they wanted a $210 restocking fee because it was opened! I again told them that of course it was open I never had a box, your freight company opened the box in their truck before they brought it into my house! I tried going to the dispute with Amazon and they are like talking to a brick wall. I am going to make it my mission to let as many people as I can know what a fraud company this is! And if you go on and do your research you will see I am far from the only one who has problems with them! We need to get this company exposed, this is the most unbelievable treatment I have ever receivedfrom a company in my life! I literally am shaking my head at how these crooks are still in business!"

"I ordered a Broan range hood from evVive via Amazon. The unit came with a defect. EvVive apparently has a 24 hour return policy which is totally unreasonable. Given I'm in the middle of a major do-it-yourself kitchen remodel, I unfortunately didn't get around to checking the hood out and reporting it until day four. I would happily exchange for a defect-free range hood, but evVive turned me down. "

"Worst retail experience of my life. My concerns are: the delivery was late and had to be cancelled, the company (evVive) entered into a contract they could not fulfill, their communication was poor, they only refunded $399 of the $699 order as they kept $300 for shipping charges, and Amazon A-Z did not fully investigate my initial claim. The sticking point is that on the order it said delivery as late as June 3 which was 7 business days. I did not notice the scheduled delivery dates on the order as they were way outside the purchased 3-5 days promised. I would never have ordered if I had noticed this delay in delivery. I outlined all of this in my emails to the company and to Amazon that started on May 23.
The product and service that evVive promised (and Amazon backed up), which included the delivery process, was not as advertised nor up to our expectations. Just to summarize: - The product was ordered through Amazon on May 22, 2014 for a very special occasion- On May 23, we received a notice that the BBQ had shipped- I began communicating with evVive on that day the absolute need for that product to be delivered by the next week- the BBQ was promised in 3-5 business days delivery which meant that it should have been promised to be delivered from Wednesday May 28 to Friday May 30th. The communication from evVive did not adequately address this delivery concern. If they could not meet the requirements they should have offered us the choice of cancelling. Someone was available to receive this product for that time. I took an extra day off work to be there on Monday June 2.- after numerous communications with both evVive and AM Trucking, it was apparent that the BBQ was not going to arrive during the promised time or even later. Therefore, we were forced to cancel this order and purchase another bbq.
My argument for receiving a full refund is that the company was not accurate in its description of its shipping policy. They offered and sold the 3-5 day shipping (as selected on the Amazon order page) on the product even though they knew they could not deliver it in that time frame. I looked more closely at their shipping policy and on page 2 of their shipping information it clearly states that oversize items will take 7-12 business days. On shipping options for this product they allow the customer to select 3-5 day delivery and on my order they clearly classify it as "Standard Continental US Street in 3-5 days", but on the next page in fine print it says 7-12 business days. This is clearly a false promise and therefore I do not believe that it is my fault and that we should receive a full refund. I also looked at the delivery schedules of their shipper, AM Trucking and it is easy to see that they had no chance of delivering the product by the date I had requested. I should never have been allowed to select 3-5 days. Because it was not possible I was sold an invalid contract. Upfront honesty would have given me the opportunity to cancel the order before it was shipped.
I am a very experienced online shopper in the US. I do a lot of shopping on Amazon, JCrew, Banana, and Ebay and others. I am aware the processes and challenges so I take steps to make myself knowledgeable of what and who I am ordering from. I am a meticulous planner and I knew exactly when I could pick up this BBQ and I gave an adequate window. I purchased this product because of my confidence in Amazon. This experience has shattered my confidence in Amazon. They offered a product at a good price but the service was awful. This retailer reflects poorly on Amazon. I did a search of reviews for evVive and they have numerous complaints almost all referring to their shipping practices. I have tried to contact the company many times by email and phone, but was continually stonewalled. I do not believe they are a good representative of the values that Amazon stands for (that is, satisfied customers).
Because of this situation and the undo stress of continuous and forthright communication, we are unwilling to pay the shipping charges for the BBQ. We feel that the retailer has not lived up to their promise to deliver the BBQ on schedule, and through lack of communication and a less than stellar delivery system, has created this situation. We request that somehow our shipping charge of $300 is returned to us without delay.

"Order for a Summit SWC3066 Wine Cooler -
Ordered on 10/28/13. Received totally damaged on 11/27/13 (it takes a month to have a cooler delivered to my home???) Called evVive on the 11/28. Sent them pictures of the damage on the 11/29. I had this broken cooler in my house until 12/12. It was finally picked up and I have heard nothing, nor received a refund. On 12/16, I filed a complaint with my credit card company whose has issued me a temporary credit. evVive's CS act very nice in emails and on the phone. The problem is that they do not do anything pro-actively or punctual! DO NOT BUY from this company or expect a BIG disappointment like I have.

"I bought a very high end dishwasher made by Bosch. It arrived with 3 major dents, damaged door. The packaging was intact. I tried for 6 weeks to get some help from evVive, and actually they were very nice and polite but the end result was this: IT IS YOUR PROBLEM AND DEAL WITH IT!!!. I almost felt like a big, big SUCKER for buying such an expensive item (over 1,600 dollars) from them.

I definitely DO NOT recommend their store. Customer service is really not helpful and you are on your own. I can not even tell if they shipped me a damaged product fully aware of the damage!!

"My item was ordered 3 weeks ago and still has not arrived. I am canceling due to multiple promises the company has not kept. I have been given approximately 5 separate delivery dates between the Amazon.com website (prior to purchase), a order confirmation e-mail (after purchase), a phone call confirmation from the delivery company, as well as multiple confirmations with customer service representatives at your company (Melinda was one), and finally another by your VP of Operations (Neil). I have had multiple interactions with customer service over the span of 3 weeks. My most current interactions were as follows: I was promised a call back on Tuesday July 30th by a customer service representative because my order can not be tracked by evViVe nor the shipping company and another today July 1st by the VP of Operations Neil who was supposed to update me on exactly what was going on with my order by close of business. This has simply been the worst customer experience I have ever dealt with. This company should truly be ashamed at how I was treated during this process. Had I ordered this item through Home Depot 3 weeks ago I was to have it the following Tuesday (I placed my order on a Saturday). Instead I am now being told the unit wasn't unloaded in Phoenix and went right on to California so will not arrive until August 7th which means it wouldn't be delivered until August 8th nearly a full month from when I ordered it. This is unacceptable even if it was being shipped overseas. Listen to the other reviews I WISH I FOUND THIS SITE SOONER!"

"Wow.. where do I even begin? Please save yourself a lot of time, energy, money, hassle, and headache by NOT DOING BUSINESS with this awful company.

We ordered a stove on April 27, 2013. It was promised to us May 2 – 7. By May 16, it had still not arrived, so we canceled. It is now July 10, and we are still fighting tooth and nail to receive our refund. Not only has this company failed miserably at living up to its service promises, but it is also engaging in THEFT. After it became pretty clear that neither Amazon nor evvive were going to resolve the refund problem, and both were going to claim the other had complete power over issuing a refund, I filed a claim with my credit card company. I have in writing from my credit card company that evvive represented to them that the item was delivered on April 30. (Isn’t that just too funny?) So, I now not only have the $1,300 charged back onto my account, but another mysterious $1,300 charge, for a total of $2,600+ for an item I NEVER RECEIVED.

Please do not put yourself in the situation that myself and all these other reviewers had to deal with. THIS COMPANY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND WORK HARD TO MAKE SURE IT’S NOT RETURNED TO YOU. Do NOT engage in business with these people if you don’t have 8+ weeks to spend hours on the phone and email trying to get a refund for an item that won’t even get to you 2 weeks after it’s promised.

"Bought KitchenAid appliances for my remodel project in Manhattan. Within a week all my appliances showed up. Drivers were friendly (apparently some of the deliveries in NY are made by evive's own trucks) and helped with unpacking when they saw we needed help as our contractor did not want to touch anything. I am happy to support this vendor as a satisfied customer."
