"I ordered an appliance from evVive for a party. It was guaranteed delivery within 3-5 days, with a hard date of no later than October 2nd. Although my product made it to the shipping facility by September 27th, the Shipping facility (Safeway) refused to deliver the appliance until the following Friday (October 5th). Because I ordered this item for my daughters wedding reception, and it was forecast to not arrive in time, I had to purcahse locally at a higher price. evVive then charged me $320 dollars becaus I cancelled the order due to their inability to meet their shipping commitment. This was a costly lesson and the first time in over 1,000 Amazon purcahses I got burned. Do not buy from evVive."
"They sent me a defective item and then gave me absolutely no support for replacing the defective item. Reading the other reviews you can see that if the item you receive is fine the evVive review will be fine -- if your item has a problem don't expect any assistance from evVive. evVive requires you to deal with the manufacturer even though evVive has sent you a defective item -- they WILL NOT simply exchange the item. AVOID...spend a little more money with a company that supports their customer.

Joyce: There isn't a case number. I would just contact them and tell them you need to return it because it arrived damaged.

So I provided the above info to evVive Home and received this response:

What does it mean to be an authorized dealer if you don't respect the determination of the manufacturer?

"I ordered a microwave trim kit from this company and I was given the wrong information about what to order from my cabinet maker. I was not notified about this from my builder until 30 days after I ordered the product. This company’s return policy is 15 days. I get it, it is past the time frame by 15 days. All I wanted was to exchange it for the correct Item (that cost $25 more) and was willing to pay the 20% re-stocking fee. They said no deal and the manager said no deal and did not even get on the phone and try and help. The item is still in the original box unopened. Pretty bad customer service. Their website said they would respond within 24hours as well. Three days later, I had to call. I would have bought about $1200 more in merchandise, but not now. If they only knew they were dealing with a person building a new home and the builder was interested in how I got the product for such a great price and wanted to use them as well. Guess what, my builder will never get the name of this company. Just because they couldn’t exchange a product.

"I was shopping for a Bosch SHX8ER55UC dishwasher. Could not find many online resellers of Bosch 800 plus dishwashers. Saw Bosch had a rebates available, so I decided to look for an induction cooktop and convection oven as well. With all the fake reviews out there, I was not sure who to believe. I almost bought from another seller in Brooklyn, but got a bad feeling about them after listening to a very unprofessional sounding after hours recording. Decided to go with my gut, plus I found an even better price on evVive's affiliated site, designerappliances.com. I checked evVive out on Google map's streetview to see that their storefront matched the picture on their website and that it was not some back alley operation. I was having a little difficulty with the designerappliances.com website on my machine, so I called to confirm stock. The phone representatives were very courteous and professional. I forgot the name of whom I spoke with in sales, but he was very helpful and patient. He helped look up the rebates Bosch was offering. He told me he thought that the rebates probably couldn't be combined, and although I'm pretty sure that these 2 rebates can be combined, I appreciate that he didn't try to tell me what I wanted to hear, just to make the sale. Completing the order on the phone went very smoothly. I was a little anxious when I didn't receive an e-mail copy of the invoice, and my card was charged. I called the next day, and the representative I spoke with pulled up the order, and sent a copy to my e-mail. I waited until the next week to be contacted by the delivery company, as instructed. I got a little nervous waiting, but I received an e-mail from the shipping service last Wednesday night to schedule delivery. The driver called yesterday to confirm delivery at 8:00 this morning, and they arrived this morning right at 8. All items were well packed. The glass cooktop, which was my main concern, was packed inside an additional box with rigid foam. I have no experience with the returns department, but based on the high level of service I received during this transaction, I will definitely recommend evVive and designerappliances.com. From someone who works in the service industry, HVAC, I appreciate when a company tries to do things the right way. Great Experience. Keep up the good work. (On a side note, I ordered a Samsung fridge on sale at Best Buy around the same time. They called to confirm delivery 3 times last week, including Friday to confirm an exact time for delivery Saturday morning. We drove 200 miles to our new house. Saturday morning, Best Buy calls to say they do not have the fridge and that the new delivery date is May 5th. My wife chewed them out and got them to rebate $100 for gas and time. If it wasn't such a good sale price, and evVive had that model, I probably would have cancelled the order and bought it from evVive, now that my eVive purchase has arrived on time as scheduled.) BTW, I do not normally give 5 stars across the board, but I could not find a category that was not deserving of full marks."
"Very accommodating seller. Wife ordered the wrong Miele appliance as a Christmas gift and by the time I opened it, it was past the return date. Although it was out of the return rules time frame, they were very accommodating on the return. Appliance was packaged very well both times and shipping was well communicated by both EvVive and Fed EX Home. "

"Wow, it was like deja vu reading some of those other negative reviews. These guys are total crooks! They decided to unilaterally swap the product we ordered for another, but didn't tell us right away ... it was only when we called them to ask why our item hadn't arrived the week they'd promised to deliver it that they informed us. Then we had a nightmarish experience when it came to getting the thing swapped for a product we wanted. Their sweet-talking salesman promised everything would go smoothly on the phone and then became completely unreachable when, like that other reviewer experienced, they did not refund us for the first item which they had unilaterally substituted, and then when, months later, they slapped us with an exorbitant restocking fee (which their sales guy had told us we would not be charged.) "I ordered a piece for a BEST rangehood on 25 July. I called before i made the order on-line to see what the time frame would be. I was told 7-10 days. Today is the 19 of August and i still have not received it. I call a couple of times a week and i get told a different storey each time. I got a message from evVive on Wednesday saying it was going to be delivered between 11am-1pm today, so i had the contractor who is installing the piece sit at my house all day. It is now 4pm and no-one showed. I am currently on the phone to evVive to see whats going on and they are now telling me it will be delivered on Tuesday, 23 August. Learned a very expensive lesson with this company, i am now behind two weeks on a kitchen job. Do not deal with them"
