"This site was recommended to me but I have been extremely disappointed. despite the fact the item was always showing in stock on the website they did not deliver til nearly a month later as they claimed to have no stock after waiting all that time the case did not actually fit the phone :(((
hi order number was 2CK6-0126-5748 thanks "
"I have purchased a faulty item from this company and over a month after they have had the item back they have still not refunded me!!! And this is despite telling me three times that they would be doing so "within a few days". And then they claim that I have only phoned them once!!!
Their customer service is TERRIBLE.
Further to a sudden spurt of action by expansys (their comment below), I can report that despite their claims, NO MONEY has hit my card yet. When I pay them, the money goes out instantly!!!"
"I paid for a new Acer Liquid Gallant Duo on the 20th December 2013. I also paid for next day delivery as I hoped to get it for my wife for Christmas. The phone was in stock. My phone has not yet been processed and has moved from being processed, to not being processed back to being processed. It seems the phone has been delayed as the stock Item does not come with a UK charger. The UK charger is not in stock, so expansyss policy is not to send the phone until they can supply the charger (apparently) the charger has gone from expected in 5 days to expected in 13 days, 22 days, 23 days and currently is showing 25 days (and climbing I suppose) I have phoned and asked they send the phone and supply the charger at a later date as I have an acer liquid metal phone charger already. (Can get a uk adaptor for £1.00 anyway) Two customer service operatives said they would arrange for the despatch but nothing. Subsequently no reply to emails and no refund of the "next day postage" I paid which was being referred to their finance department for refund. I can't ever remember a worse service I have received from any internet companies which includes 2000+ transactions on ebay.
I feel I have been very polite on my correspondence and now conclude I have been taken advantage of because I am not someone who shouts and rages to get results.
I am waiting to see just how long it does take for expansys's to do anything wiith regard to my order and can't believe they will make me wait another 25+ days for the phone because the uk charger is not in stock!
My wife is very, very upset at how we are being treated and is very worried we will lost our £160.00 to an uncaring company.

"I've had no problems with Expansys. My order was smooth straight forward, and the product arrived on time and as expected. The customer service was timely and excellent for the 1 query I had. I would definitely recommend them and use them in the future."
"i bought a bluetooth head which has developed a couple of faults, and also was not a uk model so i cant charge it. ive emailed expansys several times now asking for replacement/repair and as yet no response what so ever, ive been waiting for response since 11th december. i now feel forced to use other methods to claim a refund"
"There's two main things I like about expansys when it comes to phones:
(1) They offer a large range of phones that you can't find in your high street shops.
(2) They are, overall, one of the most competitive stores in terms of pricing.
As well as that, their customer service functions well, shipping expenses and times are reasonable, and I feel it is a great estore.
The one area that I think would be really help expansys grow would be if they could arrange with some networks so that people can do their upgrades through them. If that was the case, I'm pretty sure I would be upgrading through them every year."
"So far I am not impressed, I ordered an instock phone last Wednesday (12/12) and paid extra for next day delivery, however the item did not arrive, so I emailed them for an update.
On Friday I had received no phone or response to my email so I had to call them.
Was advised that maybe I had not replied to their email asking for confirmation of address, but that they would escalate internally to find out and should have an update by the end of the day. I checked my email, there was nothing from them requesting further clarification of my address however there was confirmation that my phone was in stock on their email. so I called at the end of the day to be told that there may have been a hold up in the deliver of stock.......... I was given two option, to cancel the order or wait. No confirmation that my extra payment for next day delivery would be refunded, only that they would ask but could not promise?! I mean come on, I paid for next day, it's now about 5 days and their website is telling me another 10 days before they have the item in stock, so I should be refunded that as standard, plus being give some kind of discount for a)having to wait for so long and b) for having to waste further money and time on phoning them to find out what is going on. At present I still don't know when I will have my phone as there has been no email response from them and nothing futher on the tracking system that they use. So I'll have to call them again. 2 stars at present (the lowest Iv ever given anyone! If I don't get it by the end of the week it will have to be 1 star).
** Update 20/12 - Still no phone, I spoke to them 2 days ago and was told they were expecting stock that day. Their website says in stock in 7 days, payment was taken when I placed the order for an instock item. I said I would like the next day shipping charge refunded, and some token of a good will gesture like a free charger, the person I spoke to said he would not even ask if that would be possible, he said flatly that they would not do it. It's now been over a week, it's absurd, I have no phone, no confirmation of when it will be here, no refund of my 'next day delivery' fee, no offer of a little something as way of apology and no response to an email I sent on Monday. Make up your own mind if you want to use them again as some people seem to have had a very good experience, but I have not and hence won't be using them again."
"*******Update 15/01/12****** I have had no response to my e mail dated 3rd January 2013 tp Expansys UK with reagrds to my refund having retunred the item on 18/12/2012. In fact Expansys UK have never responded to any of my e mails (around 15 at last count and some have now been bounced by there mailboxes)and the call centre remains as challenging as ever and I don't have the time to spend trying to get through to one of your agents.
This transaction is now almost 2 months old and it is completely unacceptable that the item as been returned (collected by a courier you arranged) and no refund as been made.
I will continue to update this site so other people can see how you treat your customers and also because it appears to be the only way to get you to act, as it was through this original review that led you to taking any action i.e a phone call offering an apology and arranging a courier.
I'm speechless!
****Update 4/1/13**** Item was collected by courier arranged by Expansys on 18/12/12 but no suprises refund not yet made and still no responses to e mails. Even allowing for Christmas and New year does it really need to take this long to process a refund. I remain frustrated and dissapionted at the whole experience.
I am a frustrated and concerned customer of Expansys UK. I made an order, which I then decided to cancel within less than 24 hours and also following there own guidelines (item shown as not despatched) yet payment was taken and the item was sent almost 5 hours later! I've then followed there returns process (e mail and/or phone for an RMA before posting) and yet almost a week later no reply to any of my e mails (the ones they advise you to use and others) and there phone lines are never available first thing in the morning when convenient to me. I have every right to cancel and return the item under DSR yet it appears Expansys UK are doing everything possible from allowing me to do this. Despite some of the positive comments on this site, it is concerning to note how many other customers have or are experiencing similar problems across the internet which is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend Expansys UK to anyone and would suggest you look elsewhere if you value good honest and respectful customer service.

"I have nothing but high praise for Expansys -Uk as I have used them for many electronic spares in the past 12 years from many PC accessories such as Hard discs Motherboards ,upgrading memory systems etc .My recent purchase for a multi charger for mobile devices has proved extremely useful even to the point of being able to have a charger for my iPad and mobile phones when visiting Spain as it came with a European mains attachment as well ,superb for the price and invaluable in its everyday usage . All items I have ever ordered have been delivered in good time and I have never had cause to return any items at all."
"Very quick shipping in Ireland, Product ok, envelop shock adsorbing. Very satisfied."
"Simply - NOT RECOMMENDED. I've spent thousands of pounds with Expansys over the years and always thought they were a company that I could trust. Recently, for 2 months now, I've been trying to get a faulty item replaced. At one point they insisted I go to Samsung. Samsung suspect that it's NOT AN ORIGINAL ITEM and insisted that I go back to Expansys. Expansys have not replied to any of my emails or phone calls. I've made about 12 phones calls and sent 7 emails (I was even given a 'special' email address to use). I will never use them again."
"A Totally awful shopping experience . . . Do not put your self through such unnecessary aggravation.
What a let down

"My first dealings with Expansys so phoned initially (I needed to know I can speak to a real person easily if necessary, this inspires confidence) I got the rep to confirm stocking levels and delivery times etc. and tried to purchase over the phone with debit card to avoid credit card surcharge. I was told by the representative that payment had failed and I needed to speak to my bank!
This turned out to be simply my banks automated security and not unusual, surprised Expansys were unaware of this. However the lack of a completed transaction rang alarm bells at my bank and they made immediate attempts to contact me as this instigated a “suspicious usage” flag.
Satisfied I could contact Expansys by phone I next attempted to order on line using paypal. This appeared to be successful but shortly received an email as follows:-
Dear Sir/ Madam
Thank you for your order.
To process your order, we need you to send some relevant

Now, what is that all about?
Not everyone is that I.T. savvy or would have access to scanners etc. But I did and reluctantly complied. I had opted for next day delivery at extra cost and did not want any further delays! However the link supplied was broken and this provoked another call to customer services who directed me to send the info to a different mail address, once again I complied, my covering note follows (which I followed up with another call to customer services, just to be sure!):-
“Following my telephone conversation today with yourselves regarding proof of mailing address, please find attached a copy of a utility bill as proof of my mailing address as requested by you in an email.
It was indeed a surprise to receive this mail, especially as I elected to pay for "Next working day" delivery and this could create unnecessary delays had it gone un-noticed.
Unfortunately the link you supplied to upload the file must be broken as it returned a “Run Time” error message so I have sent the file to your email address as instructed by your customer services. I trust this is all in order and look forward to receiving the shipment without further delay.
I do appreciate the need for heightened security in these times but please drop me a mail to confirm acceptance and that no further proof is necessary.
Kind regards,
Etc. Etc.”
A confirmation email was duly received and from here on the order proceeded without further incident and the mobile phone arrived bang on time, and very pleased with it I am.
Blimey, don't I go on....
However during all this when I did have to speak to your staff they were clear, courteous and helpful and did exactly what they said they would but there seems to be something more fundamental failing here, things for the customers experience need to be made easy and simple not difficult and worrying or they will just “click” elsewhere.
Would I use eXpansys again? Yes, but very carefully.

"I am surprised to read some of the negative comments about this company.
I can only say that I received excellent service when I bought my phone from them. It arrived in a couple of days but the UK adapter was missing from the package. I phoned Expansy's and spoke to a very friendly member of staff who apologised and said she would send one out to me immediately. The adapter arrived the next day."
"I have always had good service and delivery from Expansys over the years they are a reputable company that I use for my accesories and mobile needs. Keep up the good work."
