"Ordered fuel tank selector valve. Ordering was simple and quick. Received ordered part as expected. The issue was that the box appeared to have been opened and the plastic bag containing the valve was also opened. The plastic bag also had a tag stating "reconditioned"? Nothing on the order site indicated a reconditioned part. Not even sure how you would recondition a riveted together assembly. The installation is difficult and messy given it is a Diesel supply line switching valve. FordPartsGiant is good source of products but maybe some of their suppliers could be questioned. Valve supplied thru Galpin Ford as indicated on the interior packaging.

To update my order experience. Part was ordered 14May24. On 25May24 I received a ResellerRatings request for a review of my order experience which is posted above. Today 04Jun24 I received an email offering me the option to apply for an RMA to return the valve. The valve had been installed the day I received it as the vehicle was disabled without it. I have no intention of removing the valve unless it fails to function or leaks, the reason for the original replacement. I thank Ford Parts Giant for reaching out to satisfy a customers concerns about the fuel tank switching valve. Note; Have not tried switching the valve at this time. No fuel in second tank!
