"I have an old CD player in my car which won't play burned CDs. I have to use all store bought ones, which are difficult to find anymore. I planned to buy a bunch off FYE's website, after driving 2 hours to one of their stores and finding the selection pathetic. First it repeatedly refused to send me the coupon for joining. I had to contact them and wait for a response which took a while. That in itself would be okay. Then it kept giving me login problems, claiming I didn't have an account, etc. Finally I got in, got a bunch of stuff in my cart, go to check out. After the final page, when I hit "confirm," it took me back to the first page again. I tried this with multiple browsers. Had to message them yet again and wait for a reply. They told me the address I entered for billing didn't match and I had to call my bank. I copied the address directly from my online banking site, and confirmed with my bank that it was the correct address. My bank told me it was correct and that the problem was 100% on FYE. I contacted FYE and related this and waited several days for the reply that never came. My coupon expired, and I wrote to tell them I was going to delete my account after all this. This time they replied, to apologize for not being able to help. Yeah, whatever. I can't imagine trying to hand someone money and being given a runaround for weeks and then being ignored when my own bank says everything is fine. I mean heck, you dislike money so much, I guess I don't need something to listen to in my car all that bad. "

"I am a disabled Veteran with breathing issues which prevent me from wearing a mask. Today, 19 December 20, I was at the FYE store at the Port Charlotte mall shopping with my daughter and I was kicked out of the store by Steve. Even after I explained my condition he demanded I leave the store. Steve demonstrated his hatred for disabled veterans and his lack of respect for those of us who have provided his rights in this country. FYE demonstrated how un-American they are and proved they have a hatred for Veterans from this nation."
"Extremely slow shipping (not USPS, but leaving FYE warehouse) followed by receiving damaged records due to negligent packing. Customer service was slow, inefficient, and dismissive. This company deserves to go out of business. "
"Canceled my order, never even sent me an email or anything about it! So this entire time I assumed the item was coming when it wasnt. After seeing this review page I realize I shouldve never ordered from them. I will only buy from the psycical fye stores from now on. At least it seems like they never charged my card so I dont need to pester for a refund. Extremely disappointed however. Really wish there was a 0 stars option. "

"Since 90210 isn’t on Netflix anymore 2008-2013 reboot, I got my hands on season 1 and I couldn’t find season 2 anywhere, not even on Amazon prime, idk why it’s so hard to find right now but anyways. Fye was honestly the only place that had season 2, honestly it was not worth $39, I never had a problem with fye before until this. But I realized that even with an item saying “brand new” does not mean it’s brand new. They literally burned season 2 and put it together, the disc was blue underneath and fingerprints were on each disc. And let me say I unwrapped the case, they made it seem like it was 100% and it wasn’t, there’s 6 disc with 4 episodes on each and 4 out of 6 disc we’re skipping. Not a lot but on my 5th disc one of the episodes started skipping and froze and it literally took forever for me to exit out to restart it. Just be careful purchasing from fye I know they even make cds because one time I was looking for one and some lady working there was offering to make one for me. "

They are a scam, I got the VIP membership card and I was told I had the first month free so I did it just to see what benefits it actually had and what not. So the month goes by and just before it is abut to charge my account I decide to call and cancel as I am in college and I don't need to be paying 11.99 for something dumb. So I called and the lady would not let me cancel and was fighting me on it, so I decided to just wait, I forgot about it and the other day I called them again to cancel it. The lady who answered me did not as for any of my information, kept telling me to keep my card after I repeatedly told them I did not want it. she then told me I could get a reduced price, at this point I was so upset I told her one last time that I did not want it and she immediately says she cancelled it, I know damn well she did not because she had none of my information not even my name. DO NOT SHOP HERE OR USE THEIR MEMBERSHIP!!!!! "
"I was really worried about ordering the Fox 75th Anniversary Collection of Movies on DVD from FYE.com -- after all the bad reviews about this store online. I even checked out ResellerRatings to be sure -- and it wasn't a good feeling, after that.
Everybody else was well over $200 for a new set of these 76 discs. Best price at auction was $134. FYE offered it NEW at $80 with Free Shipping. So I took that leap of faith -- and it arrived within 4 days! Wow!
So... I cannot swear they are reliable on everything. This has been my only purchase. Keep your purchases all on Credit Cards so you can reverse the charges, later, if you feel they screwed you. But, for me -- on this first order -- Wow! I saved a minimum of $60."
"They didn’t notify me that my FREE rewards card would no longer be free if I didn’t cancel after a month. When I tried to cancel over the phone the customer service representative was EXTREMELY nasty and continued to offer me “deals” in exchange for not canceling. Almost hung up in my face before reading me my cancelation confirmation number. They have awful customer service and scam people into buying rewards cards. This company itself is a scam and would never recommend them to anybody else. I will never be purchasing from them again and they are lucky I don’t return my purchases (which were cracked by the way) when I signed up for their crap rewards card. "
"I with I had seen this review page prior to my order. Our story is the same as all of the rest of these reviews. We ordered two shirts as costumes for our daughter's Sadie's Hawkins dance. We paid $15.00 extra for the rush shipping to ensure they has their costumes. On the night of the dance, still nothing had been received. I also tried to cancel my order, but was told they could not. However, nothing has been shipped and the money had not been taken out of our account at that point. Absolutely, no reason why they would not cancel the order that at point. Despite the fact, that I had expressly told them in two different emails, that FYE NO LONGER HAD PERMISSION TO DEBIT MY ACCOUNT!! Fast forward several weeks later-I receive the order and a week later, my account is now debited as permission had been rescinded. Save yourself a bunch of trouble."
