"I am a returning customer of Gearbest, and I'm generally satisfied with their products given the good prices they offer and the generally good quality of their products. HOWEVER! I had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THE WARRANTY POLICY that I would like to share with everyone so they know what to expect for the low prices they offer. I had ordered several laptops from different makers (Alldocube, Xiaomi, Teclast) by Gearbest and they all worked perfectly until one started to fail (Teclast) about six months after purchase. I knew this was outside the return policy, as more than one month passed, but I was still eligible for a year of free repairs, given that I payed for the shipping costs. I didn't know what to do, as paying for a repair in a local store was just a little bit more expensive than sending the laptop back, but upon contacting Gearbest staff I was convinced of sending the laptop "immediately" as they suggested. I sent the laptop but no news from Gearbest staff came after tree weeks, to which they responded that the laptop had not arrived yet. However the shipping company confirmed that it had been received in China (what the hell?). To this they asked me to wait more and after two weeks they said that the laptop could not be repaired. I told them to send it back to me as I knew it could be repaired in my local shop and THIS is what they answered: WE LOST THE LAPTOP. WHAT. THE. HELL. I told them to refund me my money as they had lost my laptop that I could have repaired by my own means, and they answered that they could not do that as more than 45 days had passed since the purchase. Of course this was CRAZY as this was their fault for having lost the laptop in the first place. After almost two weeks of fighting over this, they accepted to send me a new one for 100 USD. THIS WAS UNBELIEVABLE. Since I needed the laptop back badly, I had to accept. In total they took from me those 100 USD and the shipping cost of the laptop they lost, which was about 50 USD. So basically GEARBEST OFFERS NO WARRANTY ON THEIR PRODUCTS, SO BUYER BEWARE. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE."
