"I ordered a replacement freezer door gasket for my Gladiator fridge and was sent the wrong part. I fiddled with the new part for about 3 hours and determined the ridges were incompatable with the design of the door panel. I applied silicone glue to bypass the ridge issue but this was not effective and let air into the freezer compartment causing the compressor to run continuously and ice to form.
I eventually ordered a new freezer door adding cost to what should have been a straight forward repair. After considerable time and frustration I returned the faulty gasket and asked for a credit. I never heard back from Genuine Applianve Parts and later read they do not issue credit for damaged returns (it had glue on the outer surface). I did not appreciate being ghosted and will never do business with them again. "
