"Hey if you can’t afford a tech to replace your screen for you this is the next best option simple affordable and convenient. Thank you"
"Deducted one star due to the adhesive for the back of the phone being mangled to the point that it wasn't really usable. It was stuck to other items in the package which ruined it. Otherwise the battery itself was great and the tools were all very nice quality. Would buy again, but may skip the adhesive next time"
"Not worth the money. Screen protector started coming off after two days. Purchased another replacement off amazon for 1/5 the price, and it came with TWO screen protectors (GO figure, because why wouldn't you), and the cheap replacement has already lasted longer than this kit that is sold. Would not recommend, and honestly if that is what this website offers probably never going to use this again. Nothing like wasting $40 on garbage. "
"I bought a refurb kit and it looks good as new. The pieces are high quality. I was able to disassemble an old iMac & remove the hard drive with my iFixit kit. Highly recommended."
"Bought an iPhone 13 Pro battery to repair. It works perfectly and lasts me about a day and a half. "
"The kit was very reasonably priced and gave me everything I needed to repair my device. Shipping was nice and prompt. I will definitely use iFixit again. I mistakenly bought an extra screen adhesive thinking it didn't come with the kit, but that was my mistake."
"Nice sturdy build, does what it's supposed to do right out of the box. I didn't even need to read directions. Great value for the price."
"Exactly what was needed. The rubber finger part had broken off due to use, so even though that was the only part I needed, I decided to replace the switch as well. Instructions were pretty much spot on, though did miss needing to do a bit of order of operations to replace the rubber part first and then the switch, but the kiddo and I got it!"
"Thankful to have such a site that provides OEM parts straight from manufacturer and tried-true methods and materials to get the job done right. I did lose the screw that was required but ended up sourcing one from a local repair shop. One word of advice would be - stay vigilant on where you place all screws, never leave them on the desktop, use their magnetic project board it will be the best investment you ever made if you are going to attempt any DIY repairs (even if it's just a one-and-done effort). Thanks iFixIt team and all the awesome users who provided their feedback too!"
"2015 MacBook Pro battery replacement kit arrived quickly and was perfect. Followed the online instructions from iFixIt and all went well without a hitch. Its breathed new life into my almost obsolete early 2015 MBP.
Highly recommended to spend the little bit extra to get the right tools, especially if you don’t already have them.
Also, read the comments in the do it yourself guide as they go a bit deeper into explaining different aspects of the process. "
"The parts were functional and the instructions clear. The only improvement I can suggest is hyperlinking the touch ID installation to the logic board installation instructions. "
"The repair went well but the screen itself cracked within a week of replacing. It had as small crack in the corner and then the whole screen just went to pixels. Very disappointing after spending $130 for the fix. It says OEM on the site but my last screen lasted years. "
"Sometimes when you spend a few hundred dollars to replace something broken, you feel disgruntled at your carelessness, frustrated with your clumsiness - ifixit made that all better. The quality and detail of the repair guides made it such a delight and ease to repair that the dopamine rush I got when turning on and recalibrating my fully functional and good as new device, fully made up for the depressive feelings of being a klutz."
"The battery they sent worked for about 2 days and then it stopped and now wont charge and is stuck on 0% . I’ve tried everything rebooting the phone diffrent chargers and still same result. 0%! "
"Battery works good! Easy to follow with the infix instructions"
