"The battery kit did not come with a T3 torx bit. A T3 torx is required to take the phone apart. The kit came with a T4 and T5 bit which are not required for the phone."

"I ordered a used, OEM, iphone 6s charging port. When it arrived, the openings of the ports were green and almost "moldy" - as if taken out of a water damaged phone. I took pictures, sent them to customer service, they agreed it was disgusting and shipped a new part. I already had my phone half torn apart so I put the replacement port in the phone. Although gross, it still functioned. I figured I would use it and then use the replacement part if I needed to. Makes sense, right? Wrong. Despite multiple pleas, iFixit insisted I send the old part back - actually they didn't care which part, but, they wanted one of them back. No amount of logical argument would suffice, so, I gave up. I sent them the part they sent me back. I preferred to do that than go through taking the phone apart again. This is maybe a $15 part. To me, it's straightforward - they sent a almost moldy part to me, bizarre. They should look at the pics, say, man, we messed up, sorry, here's another part. But, alas, not the case. So, they get their part back, lose a customer and get a crappy review. I'll never understand."
"The Ifixit experience is complete as it ended with me fixing up my device like I planned.
All the tools fit exactly for the task.
Only improvement on the top of my head is the box in which the tools come in. Organised but not well attached so when you get the package their are just a pile of tools. But that is a very minor problem.
But yeah, I strongly recommend Ifixit !"
