"I own numerous tools from iFixit and miscellaneous parts that are of uniformly excellent quality.
Delivery of this order for replacement black ‘rubber’ feet for an A1398 was prompt and accurate. Although the replacement iFixit feet mechanically fit properly, they are not manufactured of the same material as the original feet. The Apple supplied feet appear to use a softer black plastic with a black rubber-like coating whose texture grips... which is the only thing preventing an expensive notebook crashing to the floor if bumped etc.
Ultimately I ordered 2 sets (8 pcs.) of replacement feet from an alternative supplier on Amazon called Bislinks at $3.82. Those replacements are if not identical to the Apple feet, very close indeed and arrived a day or two later from the U.K. with free shipping.
iFixit is a wonderful company and should consider sourcing this particular part from the seller named above instead of offering the part presently being purchased.
2 days after their installation, I peeled off the iFixit feet, and my much loved Mac is once again feeling secure with a fresh set of ‘grippy’ feet.
Great service in terms of delivery, but sub-optimal part and annoyed by the time wasted procuring and installing twice. Less than $20 involved and would n’t bother to comment if I didn’t admire iFixit generally."

"My last battery popped open the case on my iPhone 5S. Ifixit provided everything I needed to replace it. Apron opening my phone I found the previous business, who removed the swollen battery had broken the button ribbon cable. Again IFIXIT had the right replacement part. It took about three hours but it is working again thanks to IFIXIT. "

"I have an iphone 5c and REALLY did not want to buy a new phone!!! My phone had to be charged at least 3 times a day and I tried to use it for only important stuff. I came across ifixit.org in an article. I ordered a new battery and installation was easy!! I am not that patient but it went smooth because of the video instructions for removal and installation. I did what the instructions said; let the battery drain to 15% then fully charge. The charge held until the next day! YAY!!! I am so glad that I did not have to buy a new phone! "The repair went as advertised. It went quicker than the repair guide stated. Only problem was the shipping method. It came usps and they completely ****. They are unreliable in my area. But thats another issue. I will buy from ifixit again in the future if the need arises."

"While a complete, detailed reassembly guide may not be necessary, some tips are certainly in order. Like placing the new battery to leave enough room to reinstall the metal home button connector cover and which end of the screen assembly to insert first when reassembling. Things like that make a difference and you should know that. Instead you make the customer find out the hard way. Skimping on a reassembly guide by telling customers to just follow the disassembly guide in reverse is not cool."

"Delivery was fine. Packaging was very good. There were no instructions included nor directions where they were online. When I searched iFixit, I found some instructions that were not for my screen replacement, but one generally for removing parts from the iPhone. Subsequently, I did more that I had to. It did not say "stop here if you are doing ..." Also, the screen is so dim as to make it almost unusable outside. Photos look poor they are so dim. I have used iFixit before, but am unlikely to use iFixit again. Why fix your iPhone yourself to be lucky not to have broke it from removing extra parts and then ending up with a poor quality phone?

"I bought the iFixit to replace the battery in my iPhone SE because it drained so fast. I've had the phone for almost 2 years. I replaced the battery and let it drain below 10% and then charged it all the way to 100% without disturbing it like it said to do. This new battery drains just as fast. Not pleased. "
